Someone emailed asking why I would do so much work for one loaf of bread they would finish in one go and I've decided to respond here.

Below is supper, and lunch, and breakfast, apart from a cup of coffee in the morning. The slice is 5mm and the baked bins was a third of a can.

It's a corona diet. With lots of seeds.

Did you measure the slice? grin

My mum used to do this a long time ago. She fries the egusi in a hot pot without adding any oil to the pot. When it's crispy brown she takes it off fire.

If u pop the egusi in Ur mouth at that stage it tastes better than ground nut. I remember how I used to scoop a hand full and go to devour it when she's not looking grin

She blends the egusi with pepper and onions after which she will cook it without adding vegetable, just meat and fish. I however do not like the soup she makes from it afterwards. In fact I don't join the whole house in eating from it. I don't understand how one will eat egusi alone without vegetable.

I was really picky as a child. A whole lot of food I just don't like eating.

I used to 'steal' roasted egusi as well grin It tastes so good grin

Home made Sharwarma.
Dinner 20minutes ago, and I'm still knocked out. Can't get up from the couch
I was so full, I couldn't breathe. cheesy

Didn't bother adding the stirfry peppers at the last minute, as it would have changed the recipe and the other people at home would probably not have eaten it.

That would be overdoing it even for me. But my small finger laid down flat is 5mm and the slice was slightly less thick. The seeds in that bread, one thin slice keeps my duracells going and going! I'll get a scale give measurements, you'll see what I mean.

It fit the image you expect buda to be, lol!

Hennessey, though. My current favourite. I love the drunk it gives but can't drink enough.

@ bolded, yes nau grin. Your posts on Nl are always so detailed, sometimes I do wonder where you get the energy from, therefore it was kind of satisfying just concluding you love being very precise

I don't know if you guys have Edeka there, but this is way better than Hennessy. Trust me grin

Used to love Amarula! It's almost like I forgot about it. Fruit and creamy, if I remember correctly. Will put it back on my list after port.

Yeah. Detailed and precise. Or least I try to be economical and minimalist. Why use many words to say what a few can, but I end up with koans that no one understands so have to leave some meat and fat on the bones.

My growing was, "buda, go write an essay" on some topic I'm given. I'd write it, only to be told it's unreadable, "go write it again". I'd write it again then get asked "where's the plan you followed in writing it"? So I'll go write a plan and rewrite the essay, after which I'd be given pages of maths problems to solve and score like 3 out of 50 and be told to do them again and again and again till I get them all right, then back to "buda, go write an essay". I used to sit there for hours planning how to connect electricity to buda, go write an essay's chair and electrify his ass! He was soldier. And I was in his army doing drill.

Yes it is work, and I'm honoured you appreciate the effort. I used to have an English teacher who didn't. She'd accuse me of plagiary and kick me out of her class, lol.
