obowo69: They can bring up their Niger Delta republic anytime they want. It shouldn't be any of our concerns. They mostly bring Niger Delta republic up during Biafra discussions because IPOB has conspired to continually put these ND ethnic groups in Biafra maps and discussions. IPOB have no shame and had decided to continually be opening Ndiigbo up for embarrassment and disgrace from these minorities by their desperate attache by force and forceful conscription of these groups into Biafra. This is the catalyst for the reasons we get reactions from those quarters whenever Biafra is mentioned. Actions begot reactions. Call off these minorities bluff, declare Biafra an Igbo republic, meet with stake holders in Igbo speaking parts of SS, anyone who rejects us, reject them publicly too as part of Biafra. How can you claim to be fighting for a country when you are yet to define its territory without eliciting disgrace. IPOB and its leadership have not in anyway advanced this Biafra cause beyond where they met it, history will remember that. 6 years and counting, IPOB has not sorted out Biafra boundaries. What.a circus. 27 Likes 2 Shares |

pazienza:20 independent countries? What a wawu. Niger Delta republic is bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Edo, cross river, non Igbo speaking parts of Delta and rivers. Those ethnicities you speak of, if you understand the terrain and Niger Delta politics you'll know that ibibio , ijaw or urhobo even in Alliance as large as they are can't dominate the Niger Delta like Igbo hausa and Yoruba are doing to Nigeria now. So plan your biafra and we plan our Niger Delta republic, thanks. 12 Likes 2 Shares |

Blackking98: Ogoni is already a member of UNDPO and MOSSOP is even older than IPOB. Oro has been in fight for independence as well. There used to be an Oro moniker on this forum years back who was leading the campaign. Ijaw dominated and ruled old Rivers state with iron fist, so much that Saro Wiwa started campaigning against Ijaw reign. The Igboids are completely dominating modern Rivers state as we speak. Urhobos are virtually the kingmakers of Delta politics. It's good to dream of a monolithic Niger delta republic as an Ibibio-Annang-Efik man whose population would automatically make a major dominant stake holder of such country, like IPOB are dreaming of a heterogeneous ethnic Biafra, but how about smaller groups like Ogoni who are tired of playing minority even amongst minorities? Reality suggests how non-feasible those dreams are. 13 Likes |

ificatchmodeh: It's happening. Imagine ropping the likes of Igala in Kogi into Biafra. One wonder what they are smoking there. What Igbo man would want such a Frankenstein monster country after enduring the tower of Babel called Nigeria? How about us having our Independent Igbo only beautiful country, where Igbo language would be the lingua franca for education and all governmental proceedings. Imagine how cool it would be for Biafra law makers to be debating issues in Biafra senate using Igbo language, national Anthem in Igbo language, teaching core science subjects in schools up to University level in Igbo language. No more shouts of Igbo domination. How cool will that be? Wonderful right? Why would any right thinking person sacrifice all that for a hopeless ethnic heterogeneous country where Pidgin English will be the lingua franca? Ana afucha ebe ana echi ozo jebe ebe ana aru agwu? 21 Likes 3 Shares |

I personally don't even want the niger delta to join biafra, it shouldnt be part of Biafra. The Niger delta is currently a confuse entity of its own.... Adding them them to biafra is like creating another mini Nigeria which everyone is running from 6 Likes 2 Shares |

mrvitalis:Can you say this out loud if those guys caught up with you saying this about him, they'll roast u life I'm on one biafra FB page, few Igbo's that talk bad about Nnamdi Kanu are always brutally attack verbally to the extent that, such person picture will be circulated there and the member will be asked to get him cos he's an enemy of the state. But majority of them are illiterates (not insulting) coz what most of them post and believe is not even commonsensical 7 Likes 1 Share |

pazienza: Your clarity of thought is commendable. I share your sentiments too. Deep inside me I believe Nnamdi Kanu is just raising awareness to let other Igboid groups know that they are welcome to Biafra if they so wish. The reason he had been demanding referendum. A referendum will clear all doubts. At that point we will know who wish to go with us or not. Isolating Igbos at this early stage is counter productive. It will make it so easy for the owners of Nigeria to continue perpetuation of their divide and rule strategy. He is playing and beating them at their own game. By the time Biafra is ready to pull out ,the rest of the Minorities in the east would have been sufficiently prepared to leave Nigeria on their own. It is Nigeria duty to keep the minorities interested. Nnamdi Kanu job is to offer them alternative. We want to be safe and clear on many areas especially as concerns friendly occupants of our access to sea before going full haul. We will also be surrounded on all sides. Friendly neighbours are indispensable. 7 Likes 1 Share |

I would rather prefer my people join Biafra than have us in Ijaw dominated ND republic. Those guys are something else. If a country as little as Rwanda can make progress then no matter where you are located, with good leadership and governance such country can succeed. I support pazienza's view of only Igboid country where hate and rancor would totally be eliminated. 9 Likes |

If una talk finish una go siddon. Nigeria is not dividing any time soon. The reason all these talks about division is stronger now is because of 2015 election. Some people lost, some people gained. Better go n prepare for 2023 election because our lines of discussions are going to change in the build to it n many news making headlines then will be about it n it's permutations that will usher in a new power demography. Unu kwulucha unu eme garri lijue afo. Thank you 4 Likes 1 Share |

fhranchez: You don't force referendum on people who never invited you for it. This should be common sense. Niger delta republic have continuously told you they don't want or need your Biafra. What are you going there to conduct referendum for, are you the one to call referendum for them? Are saying they are not wise enough to know what they want? Don't you see how insulting and insensitive your call for Biafra referendum in Niger Delta is to the people there? 18 Likes 5 Shares |

pazienza:if we want to go by your logic Africa alone would have well over a hundred countries, talkless of culturally diverse continent's like Asia. There's no possible way Oro or ogoni or other minorities you speak of are going to have a separate country without following the bigger groups, be it ijaw or ibibio or urhobo, the Oro you speak of would be at advantage because the difference between an ibibio or efik man to an oro man is like finding the difference between ebonyi Igbo and Delta Igbo, it's still the same ibibio-efik-annang-oro family. Central and nothern Cross river alone has well over ten ethnic groups, will they also be divided into different countries? Niger Delta republic can't be like Nigeria because everyone will be in control of his or her destiny, there will be new states formed within the country for minorities, something like a new south south within the Niger Delta. Your idea of having more than 20 countries from niger Delta is really laughable. We are finding it hard to get biafra and Niger Delta republic you're talking about 20 new countries? Saying igbos will support the minorities to have their own countries free of ibibio or ijaw, support yourself and have your biafra before you start being another Lord lugard. 5 Likes 1 Share |
