Another white elephant project.

My question is; with 78% poverty index in Ebonyi....... Who are/is gonna patronise this mall?
Re: Abakaliki Mall, Ebonyi Taking Shape (Pictures) by CreekCommando: 4:15pm On May 05, 2020
Dave Umahi is doing fine in terms of infrastructure but remember the NBS rated Ebonyi state 79.8% in terms of individual poverty index rating per head even when other Igbo states were rated less than 30%. What this translates is that the infrastructure is useless when human growth index is this abysmally low. He is destroying the youths by engaging over 3000 of them as aids and still doesn't pay them. What could trash this rating to a normal low level is engaging these youths in progressive agricultural business or any futuristic trade because the NBS may have rated all of these youths as jobless political touts with no sustainable means of livelihood.

Isn't it funny that in these pictures, apart from the roads that are brightly illuminated by streetlights, all the other areas are shrouded in darkness?

Do you know that a whole Delta State, power house and one of the major bread winners of this country cannot boast of one single pictorial scene of this type of road without pothole or patched road in it? It’s a shame and disgrace.

And this is Ebonyi State University Teaching Hospital he's building at his hometown. It houses both College of Medicine and Specialist Hospital.

Note: School of Nursing and Midwifery is already on ground and running in his hometown.

I do wonder at times where umahi is getting all the funds to execute all these quality projects with a low igr and federal monthly allocations?

And the dumb brains in NBS will list Ebonyi as the highest in poverty in Nigeria, tell me which capital in Southwest outside Lagos you can compare with Abakaleki, they should keep deceiving themselves with propaganda

So the statistics should not be taken serious because someone on the internet posted the same pictures of the same not-too-developed area in Abakaliki?

This is the present state of development of Abakaliki mall. It’s finally taking shape

The same roundabout and flyover all year in year out. Can you show us other sectors - human capital development (education) and health.

Ebonyi is not spera in deo junction, presco junction and udensi roundabout. Afikpo, the supposed second city after Abakaliki has not had electricity since 2015.
