I will never forgive Umahi for what he did to my Afikpo chic. He rigged that woman out of power.

Good one from the Engineer.
Engineer Dave, you have passion for development and infrastructure.

I am pleading on behalf of manufacturers and upcoming industrialist in igbo land for an Eastern power generation and transmission.

We need power in the East His Excellency. We need to exit this National Grid Nonsense where they allocate less than 15% power to the east.
Champion this project and execute it through Nestoil company/subsidiaries and Seplat.

Do this and stand long Mike okpara and Sam Mbakwe in Igbo land.

Regards.
Nestoil is currently building a power plant in his home town okija in anambra state.

The 2500 mega watt century power plant will be completed very soon by next year.

Okowa is nowhere close to Umahi. What is Okowa doing in Delta State? Okowa is a failure. [/s] Ebonyi state is one city state and also belong to one ethnic group so don't compare cool
.
Don't even dare praise Okowa. There's no town you can point to that Okowa is working. Maybe only Agbor that he's making roads for his people. Don't disgrace yourself here on nairaland. Go post that rubbish on Facebook and receive serious bashing. Oya post pictures of the work Okowa is doing in any city in Delta State let us see.

When you say Lagos, do you mean Ikeja Lagos as Capital or Lagos as a whole?

From these pictures, Abakaliki seem to have more 3 to 4 multi-storey buildings, perhaps than Owerri. I may be wrong though
Not that you may be wrong. You are totally wrong. Owerri of all places!!!! It's like comparing Nigeria and USA.

Bros, Dave Umahi is doing fine in terms of infrastructure but remember the NBS rated Ebonyi state 79.8% in terms of poverty index rating per head even when other Igbo states were rated less than 30%. When I enquired part of their reasons for such rating, I was told most Ebonyi and Enugu youths are joblessly involved in political touting which is not a form of employment. Enugu was rated 54% or so but Osun which I'm very sure Ebonyi is more developed than was rated about 28%. This means that more of Osun youths might be engaged in individual trade (per head) such Mechanics, farming, and other sustainable jobs that keep them off the streets and away from idleness. What this translates to is that the infrastructure is useless when human growth index is this abysmally low. He is destroying the youths by engaging over 3000 of them as aids and still doesn't pay them. What could trash this rating to a normal low level is engaging these youths in progressive agricultural business or any futuristic trade because the NBS may have rated all of these youths as jobless political touts with no sustainable means of livelihood.

I CAN ONLY TAKE THIS PICTURES WITH ALL SERIOUSNESS UNTIL STATES IN NIGERIA STOP DEPENDING ON THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FOR FEDERAL ALLOCATIONS.

I want to see pictures of the AGRARIAN REVOLUTION IN EBONYI STATE.

Show us pictures of farming settlement rearing pigs, goats, chicken, cattle including rice and cassava farms.

The future is not in attractive building but in Agriculture to sustain human livelihood and businesses as per raw materials.
