We are talking about development and you are mentioning ethnicity. I hope Okowa is doing a great job in your town or local govt. You can as well post the pictures to prove me wrong. [/quote][/s] you are in Delta state right? Take a walk down to ogwashi ukwu I will take you around

Surely, nobody is perfect. However, our focus here is his positives.. we can handle his bad side later

From these pictures, Abakaliki seem to have more 3 to 4 multi-storey buildings, perhaps than Owerri. I may be wrong though
Great lies

As big as Delta State. We cannot boast of a road like this without potholes and patches.

Majority of Nigerian cities are doomed. Good roads or basic amenities is just a mirage in the desert!

Do you know that a whole Delta State, power house and one of the major bread winners of this country cannot boast of one single pictorial scene of this type of road without pothole or patched road in it? It’s a shame and disgrace.

To be honest, it shocks me when I see how underdeveloped Asaba and Warri, Delta's major cities are despite how rich the state is. Same goes to Bayelsa, and even Rivers. These are oil rich states with money yet looking so backward.

Abia state too is another disaster on its own. If Ebonyi can build such mega infrastructural projects through Umahi, then every other state in SE and SS can build double considering their allocation and IGR but they keep embezzling everything.

These bridges and flyovers are similar to the ones Ganduje built in Kano.

Umahi has written his name in the hall of fame where the likes of Michael Okpara and Dee Sam Mbakwe belong. Ebonyi will not forget him.

Even with the electricity that is fairly constant in Oshogbo, they can’t make any economic gain with it. Imagine it was Onitsha or Aba that has that much electricity supply?

We all know in east Enugu is a big city with companies littered there and are also a tourist hub
Abia have Aba where shoes and clothes and other essential commodities are produced and sold plus oil reserves too.
Anambra have their market where people troop in and out transacting millions everyday.
Imo have oil and gas and also quality education and also a tourist hub hence the classy hotels littered all around the place.
Ebonyi the rising state as we can see have limestone in huge quantity, they also have rice cultivation in abundance.

What is Osun known for?? ? ?? ?? and the bagga said 23 hour electricity. grin grin

Why all the praises on the governor?
Isn't that the job he was employed to do?
No wonder Nigeria is stagnated. People worship politicians .

This is a typical inner street in Ekiti, where people live... sadly, it is similar in most of their towns... from Oshogbo to Ibadan to ogbomosho to oyo to ado ekiti.

They have good areas not denying it, but this is where 90% of their average population live. The remain 10% are either government workers, politicians, big businessmen(which includes igbos in the midst) and maybe the fortunate ones. Those 10% leave in the outskirts of the town that are newly developing areas.

This is Oke Imesi ekiti.

Osun has more universities than majority of igbo states

Bowen, Awolowo university OAU, Osun state university, Osun state poly, Adeleke university, Oduduwa university, Federal poly Ede. etc.

Osun has decent Gold deposit

Osun has cities such as Ede, Iwo, Ilesha Osogbo, Ife.

And in case you missed it, below is the picture of Osun mall built years ago

Great job Engr. Umahi, massive development since my last visit

Good one from the Engineer.
Engineer Dave, you have passion for development and infrastructure.

I am pleading on behalf of manufacturers and upcoming industrialist in igbo land for an Eastern power generation and transmission.

We need power in the East His Excellency. We need to exit this National Grid Nonsense where they allocate less than 15% power to the east.
Champion this project and execute it through Nestoil company/subsidiaries and Seplat.

Do this and stand long Mike okpara and Sam Mbakwe in Igbo land.

Regards.

Dave Umahi is doing fine in terms of infrastructure but remember the NBS rated Ebonyi state 79.8% in terms of individual poverty index rating per head even when other Igbo states were rated less than 30%. What this translates is that the infrastructure is useless when human growth index is this abysmally low. He is destroying the youths by engaging over 3000 of them as aids and still doesn't pay them. What could trash this rating to a normal low level is engaging these youths in progressive agricultural business or any futuristic trade because the NBS may have rated all of these youths as jobless political touts with no sustainable means of livelihood.
Don't let that report fool you. It does not in anyway reflect the reality on ground.
