Naijaforeigner It is actually 8 weeks, which is 2 months for the work placement at Cambrain College for "International BusinessManagement", not 3 months, as I made a mistake. I have another question, so sorry disturbing you with my back to back questions. I want to apply for "International Business Management" for January 2021, but the application is closed. Application for September 2020 is still open. How do I go about this ? Naijaforeigner: |

Legacyedition: Hello Legacyedition, Your case is not as complicated as you may see it. Its not compulsory to do a second Bachelor since all you need is the practical and professional ideas. A PGD/C or Post Baccalaureate Degree should be a more suitable choice to consider and endeavour to relate it to your work experience. Since your father is financially sufficient and reliable, you stand a better choice using him as a sponsor. Your first homework and step to take towards your application is to sit down with your dad and have an open discussion with him about your intentions. Also, with your available personal funds, you have the required funds to be self-sponsored but however after the deductions of both your tuition and LE for the first year determines how sufficient financially you are. Still, its advisable to include your father either as a co/sponsor or a financial supporter. Let me know if its not clear enough. All the best. 4 Likes 1 Share |

taiwotosho22: Hello Taiwotosho22, That's not what I meant. In terms of sponsorship, two is a suitable number but scrutinizing their financial strength put together isn't strong/good enough and sufficient to cover your tuition and LE expenses for the first year. All the best |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by JustMellow: 7:18pm On May 05, 2020 |
Cflow10: Hello Cflow10, That of the parents would suffice and it should be well demonstrated otherwise it may result to insufficient funds. Given the personal and employment circumstances of the individual, including a personal BS even if the closing balance isn't in millions won't be used against the individual or application. Though if a reliable source of funds can't be demonstrated by the parents, it will lead to insufficient funds and personal status and current employment situation. On the other hand, the parents can just put in the LE into the account. All the best |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Luckymama: 8:39pm On May 05, 2020 |
Legacyedition: My two cents: from my own experience I found that some schools are willing to waive your educational background if your working experience is solid. If it is also possible you may check for one or two online courses in business admin you can do or maybe a PGD in business admin from open university to serve as a bridge. Just apply to many schools, write your SOP as you just narrated the story above (without the personal details of course). You should be able to get at least a graduate diploma from one. Another thing is that most schools have two types of masters, the thesis based and the course based. The thesis based is usually more competitive so wherever possible always apply to the course based program. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Hi guys, I'm having a issue which is causing a delay. My sponsor has completed the statement of account form through the gtb app for 'statement to embassy' It's over 24hrs now, the account has been debited but there is no any notification or email from the bank. Is anyone having the same issues, please, how do you resolved it |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Luckymama: 9:09pm On May 05, 2020 |
NwanyiOkpa: That’s the family information form right? That’s the form I advised someone to download, print and sign, then scan back. They were shouting on me. Oya Frankrobbn and Anon123 come and explain to her how to sign family information form without printing it o. My sister as for me, I printed it, signed all the portions for signing, scanned it back and attached it. Note that there is more than one place for signing. If you are not married, you have to sign the part that declares that you have never been married. Same with if you have no kids. 3 Likes |

TRV processing time update 05/05/2020 Congratulations to all those who got their approvals so far We now have a sample of 4 hopefuls and 1 approval. Please if you have applied for a TRV, I would encourage you to share your timeline (which should include; the application date, application route, biometrics request date, date biometrics was done, medical request date, date medicals was done, date medicals was passed, and the current status). If you don't have all this information, you can just share the ones that you have and update the rest as you receive it. This information would help us study or attempt to establish a pattern to how CIC operates. We have made attempts to "calculate" processing times. (Please note that this is just an average based on the little sample we have. Your processing time may be faster or slower than the average). As we get more samples, I want to believe our calculations would be more "accurate". Finally, If there is anything you think i should add to the data or calculate from the data, please share with me 2 Likes 1 Share |

Hi Nairaland Family, Congrats to wunaarroon69 on her approval. So far so good, only 4 people have responded with their profile summary. The idea behind doing this is to enable us to establish a timeline as to how CIC operates. Please if you applied for a TRV, I would encourage you to share your timeline. My Ogas,Help ur boi I graduated 2012 from a private school(cov uni). No travel history, am the first born.. For employment, I worked 2014 in a microfinance bank, left and continued working in my Dads business till today. He is an auto dealer,my mum is not well to do. but the thing is he doesn't pay me but gives me cash for upkeep. So I got admission last year for MBA.applied January, then got rejected february on the following grounds: 1.family ties in canda and country of residence 2.not satisfied I will leave due to my current employment situation. I submitted the following docs: Police report Property docs Utility bills Payment receipt of 8k SOP LOA My siblings birth certificates and mine Reference letter from my previous employment Sponsor letter from my Dad. Though I made mistake of not submit anything from my current employment with my Dad Now the school gave me scholarship of $7500 to assist with visa processing. Though I did my traditional wedding 2017 but did not include that in my last application and my fiancee lives with me in my family house. Now how do I strengten my new application. Chimzy4real: I just got admitted into St. Mary’s University with a 2.2. 3.0 CGPA to be precise. The requirement was at least 70% in the last 60hrs. I read the comments of some gurus here but I kept saying to myself “my case is different” and I trusted God. I’d say if you can spare the application fee, package your SOP and give it a shot. You never know. I’m really excited and I look forward to guidance from everyone on my visa application. Stay safe people, it will end in praise. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Luckymama: I don't mean to say you are wrong, but the instruction is very simply on the CIC page. If you are applying online, do not print any form, do not sign. Just put your name as it appears on your passport, then put date. As a final sign, once you are about to submit, they will also ask for sign, inform of full name to certify that all response are correct. You can read through their instructions. Whichever way, God will make way for us all 1 Like |
