this is very correct! I have been shopping on Aliexpress since 2018 and I've never had problems receiving my items.
In fact, the longest delivery I have ever experienced was a month and half which the parcel later came.

But on December 10th, I made this order on Aliexpress, Redmi 8a, from Xiaomi official store. I waited for over 60 days and the order was still in transit.

I checked Nigerian customers feedback to the store and I realized that from mid last year, they all have positive review of their order arriving on time; but late last year review showed random review of order not arrived.
It was the most frustrating experience I had on Aliexpress after I ended up in the category if 'not recieved' reviewers

After the experience, to even make another other was really hard for me

I saw a gadget selling at a very good price there with good reviews from US customers and I felt confident to order an item from the site.

On the payment page, after inputing my card details I was told, my account was placed on hold pending when my card details will be confirmed so as to protect my account from fraud. They asked I send a copy of my ID showing only my name and photo which I have and it's over 3 days now yet am still unable to pay with the card.

Pls if you have shopped on Wish, did you pass through this stage or how were you able to shop with your card?

Haven't shopped from there but reviews have been a mixed one about wish. How? A colleague of mine said did shop from.there but wasn't that satisfied with the product and delivery timeline compared to AliExpress.

My question is, am I going to pay any custom fees for this package when it gets to Nig aside from the normal NIPOST fees. Concerning the NIPOST fees, the highest I have ever paid for a package is N1000 and I assume that is the highest amount they charge. ow correct is this assumption.

This Custom fees has been generating questions over and over. Be informed that if your item is shipped using Express shipment, you're 95% likely to get charged by NCS but if it's via other registered shipping method, you're just 5% likely to be charged. How much you'll be charged depends on the officer in charge at that moment or of your package.

NIPOST handling charge is dependent on weight: ≥0.5kg is ₦500 or ₦1000 (depending on your PO)
and that's the maximum charge.

The person should calm down o and you should be giving her updates periodically. No AliExpress package will be distributed from Nacho until the lower level staffers resume. Also, the flights ban has been extended by 4 weeks! So, it's a long wait except you're using DHL.

You can only get your money back in the following ways though;
1. By Opening a Dispute after 30-60days of not receiving an item

Although Aliexpress increased the buyers protection to 90days.. So you need to stay calm
