Why will the policeman slap her?
That alone can cause him his job.
His action provoked her reaction. How she reacted isn't the problem here. It's self defence. Case dismissed.
If that lady had stabbed him and something bad happened, it's act of self defence. His greatest mistake was slapping her and on seeing it's recorded, never debunked the allegation when she continually screamed that he slapped her.
