Hello Nairalanders,

I have a little issue that I feel the house can address. I am 27 and I don't really get the joy people get in being married as I don't get along with females easily.

I have got a well paying job and my career life is great but I still feel I need to have at least a child. I have considered the option of adopting or better still get a lady and pay her off after the child has been born.

My parents seem to be against this plan that it will damage the growth of the child in the future but my siblings are motivating me to go ahead.

Should I stop the plan based on my parents advise or just continue with it?

PS: This is my first time seeking advise on this platform since I joined, I would like matured advise.

Do you know it was people who spoke to January Nwankwos wife on his wife? Why don't you look for someone like a clergy to on behalf make arrangements with a lady and you both take it slow and cultivate the relationship? I recommend this

Child rearing can be tasking under any circumstances and without a significant other, the stakes are higher.

Can you raise a child on your own?
Can you deal with the pressure, stress and fatigue?

my brother. First I thought you were a female oo. But my Guy haba! Please forget anything concern baby papa, it will cost you dearly in future. Children are for the married.
Maintain a low profile and try to attract girls and build a relationship. You will surely find your missing rib.

Yes you can but at just 27 years of age I honestly do not think you're mature enough to wilfully decide you want to have children without getting married

I advice if you have no interest in marriage you look for a woman who is ready to have a child and get her pregnant, note that you must be financial stable and supportive to provide for the child and mother.

That's the best now... Be enslaved under a man doesn't worth it... And many of.them don't even value the wife after 2-3yrs in marriage.

Listen to your parents' advice. Raising a child without the support of the other half is detrimental to the child. You won't see the dangers now until later on.
It is never a noble thing to say you don't get along well with ladies. If you don't work on that part of you, you will hardly even find a wife.
I was raised by my mum. I lost my dad at a very young age and my mum raised me the best way she could but then, I feel I was raised the same way she raised my sister. A son needs his father; a daughter needs her mother. They all need both parents but if you don't want to make a simp out your son, don't leave his life to be decided solely by your supposed 'baby mama' or surrogate wife. In the same vein your daughter also needs her mother as much as your son needs you.
Get married.

if u have not started praying, u are still young, u can start seeking the face of God for a good woman. a lot of man are really happy that they are married. God can help u too.

Don't rush. seek God
The good ones still exist

And please work towards being a good husband and a good father . u can only attract what u look like .

The idea to have a child without the mother seems modern, fascinating but rather self-serving. Such ideas do not spring from true love. We usually habour so many crazy ideas while we are young many of which look laughable when we grow older. We are to strive after the ideal, to be examplary bofore our fellow men, to be of desirable attributes.
