Actually, it's not compulsory especially since it's causing rashes. That's our mother's belief and the way they raised us but this belief has been debunked by recent research.

Welcome.
You should be at the hospital to know if you're in actual or false labour, or whatever it is.
Lying on your back is not advisable. Left or right side, preferably left to help blood flow to your baby

She's on pregnacare and calcium. We have gone for a scan at the very early stage and everything was okay.
She feels fine till now except recently having headaches once in a while.
No kicks yet

She’s good then. Just try and register her in any private hospital for now if possible. At least let them run initial tests they’re supposed to. For the headache, let her continue with rest and fluid intake except it disturbs her more. It’s sometimes normal to have headache at times but if it becomes constant let her see a doc

welcome dear,please about the abdominal pains u need to tell your doc about it if the pains is very severe,might be Braxton Hicks(just a tightening felt around d stomach preparing you for labour)..but if the pain is much pls tell your doc..
Don't lie on your back it not healthy for your baby...lie only on your left side..u can switch to the right for sometime but the left side is the recommended side.All the best.

Forehead? Why? Plus in this hot weather. If baby is already having rashes due to the oil why continue? Ask them in new born thread so you get more responses

Welcome mama. If the pain is much try paracetamol and if it doesn’t stop report to your doctor. To me it’s never late to change a doctor because you can’t predict what will happen later. If you’re not satisfied with her, please change right away. Lying on your back isn’t good for you at this stage and may cause shortness of breath. Always lie on either right or left but preferably left. This will help with body circulation. Kindly state your Due Date and baby sex so that our cappo @4realwoman will add you to team June. Feel free to ask your questions as we’re all learning here.

Four days passed edd and Baby have refused to come. I don Trek tire. I can not squat because of my experience (body and joint pains) I now walk like an elephant. The tightness down below can not be described.
