what are you saying ? social security is just an agenda from the part of government to personally take responsibility care of the workers in Ghana . the agenda go as far as capturing the pension scheme cus pensioners are part of the society . it is simple, just factor pensioner funds into your social security outfit. let a competent firm managed the fund by taking little of their income while in service, invest that little fund into project that are essential and has good return back in society, and see how profitable your pension scheme would grow. your pensioner do not need to be a slave to your sluggish revenue that is finding it difficult to continue paying. Let a social security Scheme take care of that .

Wikipedia put your NSSF total asset to 115 billion shillings , if that is the case, then Ghana SSNIT would buy it and still have more change to spare ..
