It's funny how time flies. I remember back then in primary school when we used to wave flags whenever General Abacha was leaving or heading to the Airport
It was so thrilling. The dispatch riders, Peugeot's, pick up vans and the likes. All the money and power was lost in a jiffy. We all forget that one day we will all die. All this power and wealth that we try to accumulate is only useful here not in the hereafter. Abacha was buried alone, shrouded in white sheets. Not even Maryam Abacha was ready to escort him to the Oblivion. Recently again it was Abba Kyaris', he abrogated all existing protocols and made himself the defacto CinC. Now he too has gone to the abyss.
All this wealth and power that we yearn for means nothing. Haven't we learnt from.the CoronaVirus lesson yet? It has clearly shown that anyone and everyone is surmountable.
Lets have a change of heart. All this stealing and crass for power will end here, you will have a bad name here and keep receiving insults. Let's be our brother's keeper(genuinely) and assist one another. We shouldn't eat alone, that's greed.
