Many Nigerians still don't believe this disease is real, while some who believe are not concerned because they know that it's not a death sentence. Please let's all bear in mind that this is an airborne disease -- its causative agent can travel through any free space and isn't limited, just like the air we breathe. Therefore, it's a lot more serious than most think. Let's ensure we follow the guidelines given by the CDC as we await a vaccine and cure for this fatal disease.
Airborne from were Mr? It is not airborne except if u ve carried out research work to prov that it is airborne. Go and read about it very well. But agreed with u that we all need to take precautions so seriously. May God keep us safe

I wish we could see the number of tests conducted on each day broken down by state so we can actually interpret these figures.

If a state is testing more people, a large number of new cases is not so alarming. If a state tested almost nobody, a low number is not reassuring.

The secrecy is totally uncalled for. This issue was discussed yeaterday on Nigeriainfofm by Hamza, leader of CODE/followthemoney Initiative . Corruption is the only reason NCDC will not disclose the number oof testing to Nigerians. Hell, they wouldn't even let anyone in on how they have been spending the donations received so far.

How about censoring their face at least 1000
plus cases in Lagos. We should be able to at least see them so that pple can believe it's real.An average Nigerian citizens don't trust when it comes to money, Coronavirus and promise.Remember seeing is believing it will be hard to believe this APC led government especially when we all know lying is the bedrock of this government.

Even the patients at isolation centres, can't they video what is going on in their respective centres and leak online? Or are they not allowed to go in with phones?

Nonsense angry where are these people coming from. We need to question the efficacy of the testing kits or the system rather. These cases might be coming from places where the lock down order was adhered to. How come!!!

Abeggg
Lockdown can stop or limit the spread IF strictly adhered to and authorities act fast and do the needful . In Nigeria's case we had not finished mapping out who and who had the virus, before people started moving again. So this community spreading will go on and on. In fact I dread next week cry

With all due respect, covid -19 is not air borne but droplet borne.
