Let's just be honest here the whole 36 state plus the F.C.T have all recorded cases on way or the other. NCDC should always adhere to transparency and avoid keeping secrets from the general public. All state ministry of health need to be constantly brief on daily medical reports and not putting the whole burden on the NCDC; with that integrity of information to the public would be achieved. 1 Like |

Seun: Brilliantly put! In actual fact this has been the real issue we are faced with. Zero to low testing across the country! Lagos will most definitely continue to have highest number of cases for obvious facts which we all know. However, we are only getting to know on paper because they happen to be the only state carrying out fair to average number of testing of their citizens daily. Other states are either busy playing politics, doing tests with mobile app, or simply carrying out zero to low testing and only for individuals show serious symptoms. In truth, we have a long way to go..... I can tell u for a fact that number of positive cases in Nigeria at this instance is well over 100,000! Believe it or not, it doesn't change the fact! Nigerians/African are unexplainably very lucky. We have an unknown and not yet explainable underlying immunity which is strongly help us fight against this virus! That is the obvious truth! If not so our deaths will have surpassed USA by now. An alarming number of people are already infected, they are getting healed without even knowing they got it. 2 Likes |

Adam09: How about we lockdown till December or maybe next year? Heartless fellow.... You don't know there are families crying for food... They have been through hell these past six weeks. I don't blame you... You have so much to eat.. You won't make this statement if you have nothing to eat. Fake corona in Nigeria. No evidence. Only numbers. God will visit them all |
Re: 195 New COVID-19 Cases, 5 Deaths, & 53 Discharged On May 6 by Aystarz: 7:49am On May 07, 2020 |
SirWarlock: This only depicts data of confirmed cases from the 1st of May, not the number of testing done since March. How about we have daily 'testing statistics' of Lagos, Ogun and FCT from the 26th of March, when Jack Ma's kits landed in the country? Not confirmed cases, only number testing done since then. |

drake49: These photo and video requests is appalling. How would you feel seeing your pictures or that of a close relative on social media? Knowing how Nigerians think and stigmatize, nah, I dont think it's fair and if it's so important to see the victims of this disease, please take a trip to any nearby isolation centre, the last time I checked, restriction on movement has been lifted. Cheers |
