Ezeego61: Yes, for real. They suspended the program last year but will be reopening a similar stream later this year. You will be expected to invest $1,200,000 for a period of 5 years and live in Quebec for 3 years to be eligible for citizenship. |

tyosho: Very nice write up. Following your job recommendations sites, I went to indeed.au and saw many openings for my job description for immediate resumption. Most of them where in sydney and Brisbane Queensland. So I guess Queensland will be a better settlement location for me than NSW or sa cos I plan to go for 491. I saw govt job openings with very good salary but they specified that it must be citizens or ppl with PR that should apply. Can someone under 491 be considered for such positions cos we were told 491 visa has benefits of PR. Also do they benefit from childcare and subsidized accommodation as PR ppl? As a landed immigrant, please help us with the challenges 491 immigrants face that is not being experienced by 189 and 190 visa class immigrants besides location to big cities. |

Amachebry:Research about the two countries, the migration and cost involved; then make your choice. The two countries both have threads here in the travel section...so get to work and make your decision 1 Like |

If you have an Msc Canada will be the easiest based on your age. If you don't have you can go through provincial nomination which is expensive and time consuming. However, for Australia, you need to write IELTS or PTE and get at least 7 in all modules for IELTS or 65 in all modules for PTE, submit your application for assessment with AIMS. You stand a good chance for both countries, it is a matter of choice. tunlex01: Amachebry: |

Good day every one, I felt I should comment and also say a big thank you, to all the person's that have taken their time to post their experiences/ those that answered questions and the person that started these thread ... God bless you all ❣️ The covid 19 thingie has really opened my eye to why I should run four-forty from this country( Naija) cos of the way our leaders and citizens are handling the pandemic hence I started extensive research on the net, looking at which country I could go for masters and the prospect of post study work visa and I finally made up my mind to work towards Australia as it is easier to get admission and student visa compared to Canada . In my research and everything, I ended on a website which was really helpful so I felt I should share with people looking forward to go the school route. Would greatly help in terms of school and course search. The site is *overseasstudentaustralia dot com* YouTube also is your friend, it gave me good insight about Australia and the schooling environment. I am still here for now, planning towards year 2022 February cos I have a good business here so I needed the time to rap up things and save money, also planning on going along with my niece, cos I promise her mom to take care of her . The top place on my mind for now is Perth. The course am looking at is either masters of social work Or masters of nursing practice and for my niece she said she wanted something in business so she would start with tafe first. ....would decide which before application time next year ... Cheers and stay safe 2 Likes 1 Share |
