How many locations have it currently? Glo that started in 2018, is still limited. Only 5G approval will push them to move bands faster to enable them to use band 20 on sub-6Ghz bandwidth range, other than that they won't be a hurry. There are still lots of locations with only band 20 and no band 7 as well as places without 4G network for MTN.

My Verdict is buy a phone that covers all bands available in your country so you won't lack, no matter your location.

There are plenty out there, I can't start listing devices that fits this description. Which OEM will I start from. Get a list of all 4G bands used by all network service provider then use their bands to check on the specifications on any global Version phone you are buying.

Since 9mobile and Airtel 4g work well, then issue is not from your phone.

Try another MTN 4g sim
