efe2real:Form a republic exclusively for your own ethnic group, stop merging unwilling ethnic nationalities into your phantom Niger Delta Republic, until the other tribes in the Niger Delta decide in one accord and voice to merge together, you are in no position to force issues on anybody that hasn't given you the permission to. Speak for YOUR tribe only, and let the others decide. 3 Likes |

Never compare yourself with Pazienza, you're not fit to tie his shoes talkless of comparison, he's a real Igbo man, no empty pride and arrogance like the one you and your lots parade here on NL. I keep asking myself if some igbos on NL are the same with the igbos I know in real life and I have as best friends. Go to bed before your mum ceazes your phone little man. |

Efewestern: You see, Tivs, Igalas, Idomas, Ebiras & Nupes are part of the Middlebelt, but I as a Plateau man will never want to share a country with these people if Nigeria divides. Cos I know how these people reason. They reason just like you SS tribes. Larger ethnic groups tend to have a stronger form of nationalism. You see these middlebelt tribes I listed above?, they have not even had very bloody conflicts with each other like you Urhobos, Ijaws, Itsekiris or Ogonis have had with each other, yet I do not need a soothsayer to tell me that Igalas, Idomas, Igedes, Tivs & Ebiras can never ever form a country together as one people in peace. It will never work! Cos everyone is suspicious of each other and does not trust the other. Will the capital of such country be in Tiv land? Idoma land? Igala land or Ebira land? See, do not mistake intra-ethnic rivalry for inter-ethnic one, they are not the same thing! Ebiras behead each other in their clan fights in Okene, but when it comes to politics, they readily keep that aside to unite against the Igalas. Tivs fight each other, but when it comes to fight Jukuns and steal their lands, they are united. People of the same ethnicity can always settle their differences and live together under one political union, but it is not always so for multi-ethnic places. Especially when these tribes are very large. But when these tribes are smaller, unity is far better and easier, that is what I was telling Blackking98 when he was laughing at Ogoja people .....But he thinks I just want to attack his AkwaIbom-Efik people. Ogoja people can always live together under one political union in love and peace cos they are dozens of ethnic groups and they all know that they cannot do without each other. I am even happy that many Tivs, Idomas & Igalas know that they cannot share one country with each other hence they propose their own Takururu, Apa & Okura republics. Urhobos, Esans, Binis, Etsakos and even Isokos have strong nationalistic tendencies. It's not as if you people even have one language that unites you people.... I share in your optimism, but you and I know that such a union will never work. The average Esan man is still very bitter of the fact that Benin is his state capital. Then u think he will still agree for Benin to be his new country's capital? Can't you see how much your own Urhobo people are so so pained that Asaba is your state capital? And u think your people will allow Benin to be a state capital again? The best thing for your people could be a very loosed Confederacy like the UK or everyone has his country and then you form something like the EU. Nigerdeltan republic, Midwest republic, Akwa-cross republic can never see the daylight of unity and progress. You guys should take this from me as someone who has been into 'minorities agitation & unity' for the last 10 years. Before, I used to think that my people can form a progressive bond or nation with the Tivs, Idomas, Igalas & Ebiras as one Middlebelt republic, but God forbid. We have nothing in common that unites us. But when you say Plateau, Southern Kaduna, Southern Bauchi, Nasarawa, FCT, Taraba, Adamawa, Southern Gombe & Southern Borno. We are one people with same culture, same mentality, same orientation and over 150 tribes united by Hausa language/Christian values. What will be the uniting factor for the Nigerdelta republics? Language? Oil? Geography? I can't even say Religion cos you people do not take Christianity as a serious identity unlike those of us in the middlebelt. @Efe2real,. I was born in Warri. Who owns Okere? Pessu? Aladja? Ogbe-ijoh market in Warri urban? How do you carve out and separate Okere, Okere-Urhobo, Agbassa, Ekurede-urhobo, Ekurede-Itsekiri, Ajamimogha, Ogunu e.t.c from each other into separate regions without a war? Let us not even talk about the Itsekiri & Ijaw towns offshore where u find one Itsekiri town surrounded by Ijaw towns and vice versa. Hmm, I just hope and pray that God gives your leaders extreme wisdom & tolerance to conduct your affairs if Nigeria divides, because ehn your region will be a pure battleground. 5 Likes |

efe2real:Because I hate double standards, on one hand you accuse the entire IGBOS of trying to force non-Igbo speaking tribes from the Niger Delta into Biafra, despite resounding rebuttals from many Igbos who have made it clear that the few unintelligent IPOB members who do that don't speak for the entire Igbos. Yet you guys still find every way to insult the Igbos (like what can you minorities put together even boast of in all indices of achievements that the Igbos haven't achieved ten times more)?, if the reason for the arrogance is oil, there's a huge reserve of oil in many Igbo speaking parts of Rivers state, including Imo and Abia states. Now my point is, I find it hypocritical that you accuse the Igbos of forcing others to join Biafra when only a minority of them do that nonsense, yet I'm seeing way too many of you trying to create a Niger Delta nomenclature without even having the respect to consult and affirm if the other ethnic nationalities in the South South actually want to form a republic or stay on their own, get my point now? My own be say make una no go make mistake include Anioma for una Niger Delta republic, except you want another Biafran war 2.0 in your so called republic. 6 Likes |

Nowenuse: Mr since your line of argument anchors on/ favors coalenscing the itsekiri, urhobo, ijaw tribes of warri into a conglomerate of biafra, i'm yet to understand how annexing warri into biafra would be able to guaranty us autonomous resource control itself. So it would be lame to bring up our intertwined boundaries into this discuss since identifying with biafra in itself does not solve our problems. We have had our own misundastandings but the good news here is we have got a common course that seeks to protect the interest of our people, history and ancestry. And i'm sure warri will echo its resolve to be a part and parcel of NDR over biafra when a referendum is declared. That in itself is unity |

Mystiquefia: You see, the only thing that unites your people is fear of Igbo domination. That is not enough to form a country cos that uniting factor will disappear as soon as you have your own country. To be sincere, I don't think joining BIAFRA will even be a good idea for your people. However, one thing sure is that you people must stop acting as spoilers! (In the sense that you only mention your NDR whenever the issue of BIAFRA comes up). Nobody ever hears of your own independent agitations without the mention of BIAFRA. Why? 6 Likes 1 Share |

Just Take a look at the internet and see those doing attache by fire by force, they are not my tribesmen, they're are all igbos. stop whining over the place like a demented psychopath.. we all know a vast majority of Niger deltan miniorities if given the opportunity would chose NDR over biafra except for a few igboid tribes in the South South. Why Not Calm down and let people chose between biafra and NDR? why try to muffle dissenting voices of the miniorities? 2 Likes |
