Don't think so, see players like Ibe and Onuoha they didn't get England shirt and still insisted on not playing for us. That means they don't care about us at all, this one still cares just that he'd have preferred Denmark and that's very normal considering he was born and grew there

Ibe and Onuoha?

Didn't they make a U-turn sometime later?

Largely rumour, never came out to say. Keshi approached him during preparation for 2014 WC he still refused to play for us

Billing seeing that he can't make the Danish team again has decided to (with great hesitation) play for Nigeria.

Such players can never be loyal. Take it to the bank

Billing has never been loyal to any team, not Huddersfield when they were fighting relegation or the Danish national team which he has declared for not up to 1 year before he 'undeclared'

I just see him as a bag of problems who will start grumbling if he doesn't start in the SE

Not a rumour, he actually wanted to play for us, later. We only approached him once under Vogts. Never approached by Keshi.

SPORTNedum Onuoha ready to play for Nigeria

" style="max-width: 100%; display: block !important;">Queens Park Rangers defender, Nedum Onuoha, has said he would love to play for Nigeria, but admits he might not get the opportunity.

The 29-year-old reportedly rejected the chance to feature for the Super Eagles when he was younger, opting to wait for a senior England call.

Onuoha has now denied those rumours and says he is ready whenever he is invited.

“There was a time in the past where I did have the opportunity with Nigeria, it was really on one occasion,” he told getwestlondon.co.uk.

“Since then I’ve had a few false dawns with some people saying they can sort this out and that out, but it has not happened and I’ve enjoyed the club side of football.

“It is not that important to me to be honest. If I was to receive a call-up then that would be great and there would be a decision to make, but I’ve not received one.”

He also confessed that he was supporting the Dream Team VI at the 2016 Olympics and says he is happy to be a fan for now.

“I’m happy to be a fan for now,” Onuoha added.

“I kept an eye on the boys at the Olympics where they always seem to do well.

“For anyone like me who was born there you hold the success of your nation close to your heart and like to see them doing well. Unfortunately, the gold medal was not to be.”

nothing wey dey do us wey we no go complain. it baffles me how folks expect this kids born and bred abroad to just jump to the chance to play for us. it is not easy as many thinks because most of this kids have not stepped their foot in our shores while few knows little about their biological dads.

before billing decided to rescind his decision he must have weighed his options after been treated unfairly by the current danish national team coach. he wanted to continue with the danes but wasn't given that opportunity no matter how little to be a part of their squad even when he is a regular in the almighty epl. matters got worst when he was dropped for a championship player during the last international break.

i think the issue stated above was what made him had a rethink knowingly fully well that he will definitely get a chance to show rohr and super eagles fans what he can offer. sentiment aside he is the most complete natural dm we can reckon on if ndidi is out injured or suspended. i have seen him play many times in the epl both in the colors of huddlesfield and bournemouth and will say that he is good enough atleast as a cover for ndidi. he will miles ahead of the likes of agu,ogu and esiti.

he covers a lot of ground, blessed with good height and physique, mobile, decent passer of the ball and a good shooter outside of the 18 yard box. since he made the leap to the epl with relegated huddlesfied he has atleast recorded 2-3 goals in the league. dude is the best cover for ndidi

Joebie:
Which one be great hisitation? If he hesitated greatly he will still be waiting on Denmark. Nigeria is his second choice, and he can still do well for Nigeria. Time will tell.

Why didn't you also consider Rohr preference for collins, etebo and Musa also. Despite Musa lack of games or whatever, he is still Rohr captain and Rohr has proven to rely on him because he is loyal and humble both to the FA, but also to the coaches and fellow SE team mates. Etebo has always been part of Rohr team when fit from inception, so why not consider him also because he is Rohr choice? What about Collins who is currently the only natural Left footed LB in the team and when he became fit at the last Afcon, Rohr had to picked him over Aina? And you expect Rohr to go to a competition without a natural left footed left back?

Collins will always be in the team as he is rohr first choice at left back ,even thou I prefer aina there ,Collins has not done bad as people think

Las las Na collins get that place and aina might have to play right back

Please remind me of any coach that has gone to a competition without a natural LB. Also, not that Collins did badly in the current bundesliga that was halted, he was doing well for his team already and he is ranked among the best in his paderborn team. My brother just say you don't like him... I also don't like him though, same way I don't like etebo either, but you see these 2 players? Rohr will hardly drop them

Lol even you self know the truth

You no like player no mean say make you dey deceive your self

Collins and etebo are starters in rohr team

oga that paderborn team is poor abeg

He is a standout player there

Rotherham was a poor team in the championship but Ajayi was doing well there and was also called up there

Wigan is also a very poor team and balogun manage to play 5 games and some people no let us hear word

On a normal day no player will be loyal to a relegation team so don’t blame him for that one

Hope you saw how almost all Juventus players ran away when they where relegated then due to that scandal then

@charlesemeka85.
Rohr will definitely pick his squad irrespective of who recently joined.

1. Uzoho
2. Aina. 5. Ekong 6. Ajayi 3. Collins
4. Ndidi. 10. Iwobi 8. Aribo
7. Chukwueze. 9. Osimhen 11. Kalu

His Options on the bench will be:

In Defense
13. Omeruo
14. Awaziem
15. Balogun
16. Ehizibue

In Midfield
17. Shehu
18. Etebo

On the flanks
19. Musa
20. Simon

In Attack
21. Iheanacho
22.Dessers

Goalkeeper
23 Ezenwa

If Ejaria joins then Iwobi may have to move to the wings if Ejaria performs well in the CAM role. And Shehu will have to slug it out with someone on the rightback or defensive midfield to keep his shirt. Name don't play football, form does.
