Let me ask you this question: If you have bias against some pastors or you don't like their method of operation, does that mean your own church that you feel is good or better should not open for 2 hours service or 1 hour when lockdowns are relaxed?

Bishop David Oyedepo encouraged the opening of Churches, since markets are opened, and people were against him, saying it is because of tithe or money or offering or whatever... Now, if you feel your own church is the best, and they are doing the right thing, shouldn't your church that is good, open for service? See, you may argue and say that doing church at home is still okay, but it can lead to spiritual laziness... Let us not give the devil chances.. Know God for yourself, and do not destroy a system that provides proper fellowship with God just because you have bias against some pastors...

But if religious organisations are allowed to open it is you and your oyedepo that will be wailing up and down that it was done because of ramadan. Mind you I am a christian .

There is nothing like "your church", as nobody has a church. Only Christ owns the Church. And the Church is the gathering of God's children anywhere they gather to worship Him (in any number more than one. Doesn't need to be a crowd). So, the church has never been closed at any time (even during those days of persecution in the Roman empire). Except by "church" you mean the numerous business centres littered across the country. Now, that's another thing.

God is a God of structure and orderliness, that is why in the Bible, He gave gifts for the edifying of the church. God likes accountability, that is why in the past, He had priests....In revelation, we had various Churches: church in Sardis, church in Philadelphia, church in laodiceans etc... You cant just wake up any time and gather people, and say it is church....If schools, institutions have structure, God too likes structure....If you feel some churches are business centers, we have other churches that don't do so...no excuse!

Churches should be open. The locking of churches is satanic hiding behind convid. Bishop oyedepo advocating for churches to open is not about offering . Offering is not to the pastor . Besides he's already a successful billionaire business man . He has said it many times he has no income from the church . The reason he advocates for church opening is :

The church is ordained from the word of God to meet according to the word of God .

Secondly it's a matter of faireness. If if lockdown is relaxed for the goose it should be relaxed For the gander .

Lastly the lockdown is not based on science . It's an agenda to bring recession . SWEDEN did not agree to lockdown their country yet they have prevailed over the virus
