Bro is it worth buying redmi airdot? And how does one identify original. If there are also better substitutes at 8k price region please do let me know jboixxx: |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 11:23am On May 08, 2020 |
Betnomore: Why won't it be, worth it. If it isn't good, it wouldn't have sold as much as it have. Alternatives are QCY T5, Haylou GT Pro(all are still companies backed by Xiaomi) |

lapazi: Same content, different heading. Besides they have updated their browser with a fix. If you don't use the browser why worry. You either give your data to the US or the Chinese they are both guilty of it. Google that tracks your movement even with your data turned off. 5 Likes |

It really looks like Redmi Note 8 is the abandoned bastard of the MIUI family To think that one bought that instead of the mediatek pro version thinking that being s snapdragon device it would be better treated. smh Lesson learnt. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 12:21pm On May 08, 2020 |
AshipaEk0: It is not abandoned, both RN8 and RN8 Pro will get the same Android Version which is 10, but RN8 will come with MIUI 12 instead of MIUI 11 |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by freeAgent99(m): 12:24pm On May 08, 2020 |
genius43: Please I have noticed that my battery has been going down a bit faster than before these couple of days. Do you see any possible reason in the stats? And how do I change my font in rn7 pro where I haven't been able to find the "region" setting. Thanks.

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by olayinkajnr(m): 12:24pm On May 08, 2020 |
AshipaEk0: Lmao. Redmi Note 8 still has better supports than its pro variant. You think Xiaomi abandoned it? The RN8 is and will always be better treated. The Dev base of RN8 is much more than the pro variant. You know why? Because devs prefers Snapdragon over mtk. 4 Likes |

olayinkajnr: Thats for custom roms ... I have used every Redmi Note since Note 3 and i still keep some with me My Note 5 pro is still with me running PixelExperience So i know about this. but i bought the Note 8 to keep on MIUI as stock, and its really surprising that i've only seen updates like 3 or 4 times, and they were usually android security patch updates. I don't even think there's a Dev MIUI Rom channel on the device. Its a big letdown. 2 Likes |

Hi guys, please what's the difference between Redmi k30 and Poco x2? |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Mrviktor(m): 12:57pm On May 08, 2020 |
Y'all that feeling you aren't abandoned.. Forget it. You are oh. They started this shit with redmi note 5.. We that bough redmi note 6 tot we would become the top dogs.. We were wrong. Everything that was done for note 5 was done for note 6. And note 5 was always talked about more.. It got worse when note 7 came out.. It was lik note 6 didn't exist.. Same thing is happening now.. Note 7 is still hugging all d fame. Note 8 users feel lik they don't exist. Nd now note 9 is out.. By December note 10 will come out. Note 8 will be a forgotten memory. Note 7 will still be thriving hard. 7 Likes |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by olayinkajnr(m): 1:10pm On May 08, 2020 |
AshipaEk0: You see, you don't know this despite using every Redmi Note since Note 3. Especially the bolded part. Because Xiaomi already stopped pushing developer ROMs since last year. Still, if you've used Xiaomi devices for long, you'll know it only takes little time for Xiaomi to stop supports for their mtk devices. But I get your point sha, you need Xiaomi to push update to Redmi Note 8 like they do the Note 8 Pro, yet you forget that Xiaomi needs to support Redmi Note 8 Pro because lots of people frown at mtk and as such, they'll need to support it to make people endeared to it. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by olayinkajnr(m): 1:14pm On May 08, 2020 |
Mrviktor: Lmao. You made a valid point bro. I specifically never saw any need for Xiaomi to make the Redmi 6 series at all. Notbing significant about that device. That's why note 5 series is still talked about the more even till this moment. Redmi Note 7 on the other was a significant upgrade over the Note 5. In fact, it sold more than any Note series out there, so what do you expect. And you and I knew that when Redmi Note 8 was launched, it'll never get same buzz as the Note 7. Not too much of an upgrade too. And yes, you are right. Xiaomi started this shit. It's left for people to see through it. Ask @Genius43, I still prefer the Note 5 to the Note 7 even. |
