The Brain is the Battlefield of the Future In this video, Dr. James Giordano speaks to United States Military Academy cadets and faculty about the human brain and the future of war. Giordano is Chief of the Neuroethics Studies Program and Scholar-in-Residence in the Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics at Georgetown University. Recent history has seen substantial advancements in neuroscience and neurotechnology, Giordano explains. These advancements are almost certain to impact the wars are fought in the future. In many ways, the brain might even become part of the battlespace. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uOB_qyPU0w full video here : https://mwi.usma.edu/mwi-video-brain-battlefield-future-dr-james-giordano/ 1 Like 1 Share |

World's most powerful nuclear bomb tested till date Soviet Tsar bomba It was a 3 stage hydrogen bomb which used a fission bomb primary to compress a thermonuclear secondary and then use the resulting energy from the explosion to compress a much larger additional thermonuclear stage. Test yield was 50 MT , design yield was 100 MT but to limit the amount of fallout, the third stage and maybe the second stage had a lead tamper instead of a uranium-238 fusion tamper. Interestingly till date it was the cleanest nuclear explosion with minimal radioactive fallout relative to its yield. 3 Likes 1 Share

The T-72B3 in my opinion, the best Tank in Europe. Just like the T-34, for every one destroyed, the Russians can make 2 to replace it. 2 Likes 1 Share

S400: Kindof related but unrelated To a certain extent our brains are what we eat . Those who eat healthy food are smarter and sharper , less prone to depression etc Those who eat too much junk foods , sugar , salt , carbohydrates rich food and red meat are prone to low intelligence , more prone to depression etc Especially fetus inside mother and kids as they grow up till 20 years age. After that new brain cells stop being produced , so adult brain synapses need to be in top condition to allow the brain to function properly ( kind of keep us smart ) , which inturn is dependent on the food we eat and the lifestyle we live. One reason why many intelligence agencies forbade their governments to allow genetically engineered crops and food into their country. Other reasons r also there though. 1 Like 1 Share |

S400: IMO Precision pathology and nanomedicine are the most feasible tools but it is few years off to fruition. Whenever a new " stealth " weapon is employed , it's effectiveness remains as long as it is undetected . Once it is found out , people will start researching countermeasures . Even allied countries will start to research countermeasures and detection systems , once existence of the same is detected or suspected, because among nations there are no friends. But as always it best to prepare , better be safe than sorry 1 Like 1 Share |

BabaOwen: This guy ejected from his F5 without a scratch but strangely a mandatory blood test as part of the investigation found his blood alcohol level 98!? Meaning he should have been pickled in vodka! The helpful Akorino people in the Kinangop village, where he landed, had been in a prayer and fasting period when they heard the bang of his crashing plane. The next thing they saw was a man hanging from a brightly coloured parachute up in the skies before sinking gently to the earth.[url][/https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.standardmedia.co.ke/mobile/amp/article/2001350831/day-villagers-mistook-fighter-pilot-for-black-jesus] Later he flew for KQ. |

bidexiii: The wingtop position of engines really helped. Had the port engine dragged on the tarmac fire risk would have risen exponentially. |

kikuyu1: Dont know , will depend on how far the gun can be depressed . Personally I doubt the effectiveness of the system. If one can design a gun with high rpm to hit a target accurately , then there is no need to have a system with multiple guns to hit the same target with the desired accuracy. No point wasting bullets. And reloading 8 guns will be a big pain in the ass and make it vulnerable to counter strike. I believe it to be a psychological weapon and best suited for taking out very low flying aerial targets only if coupled with a good fire control radar. 1 Like 1 Share |

Goddamn,nemesis8u,do you about this!? Apparently, there are still Indian POWs from the 1971 war! As late as 2003, a Canadian human rights representative visiting Lahore Jail was called out to by prisoners claiming to be held from the 1971 conflict but was denied contact with them by his minders. Even more recently, in 2012, an Indian carpenter working in Oman reported he had been approached by a fellow Sikh who claimed to be Sepoy Jaspal Singh and said that he and four other Indian POWs had been held in Oman since 1975, in what would be one of the earliest cases of rendition.https://thediplomat.com/2018/12/the-last-secret-of-the-1971-india-pakistan-war/ I've tried to avoid saying this but tbh it must be said:all religions are actually about social control, though this agenda is disguised with messages of redemption/deliverance/goodness/holiness etc, etc, especially the Abrahamic faiths-of all 3 Islamic is imo the most structured to social control via legalistic mechanisms. Almost anything can be justified and/or moralised giving rise to frankly inhuman crimes like this sorry episode. Muslims, hate me if you want but I think I'm enough of a competent observer to make this statement. 3 Likes

kikuyu2: Ind... handed over 70000 pak... Pow. The pak.... did not keep to their side of agreement , they released only a few and hid the others claiming them as KIA or denying their existence. only animals find pleasure in torturing humans over decades in prisons just because of their different religion . Rabid mentality in full display. Did I not mention here , how they mutilate genitals of captured soldiers , gouge out the eyes , burn entire body of POW with cigarettes , cut off tongue etc. Add to that apathy of Ind.... politicians to their own soldiers . MFs the whole lot . As per records there r 75 pow in Pak.. whose existence is denied by pak... till date. No idea on pow in Oman Anyways karma is a bitch 1 Like |
