list one alternative to the above pls

I have had the discussion over a long period giving a multi faceted approach with solutions.

You can go back to my posts.

The more l look at the $600 package detail the more l see we have been ripped. But it's a corporate thing and some people are laughing all the way to thier offshore banks.

Unfortunately this not unique to Nigeria it happens across the world and yes in the West particularly in the USA and UK with all kind of payments under disguised headings.

The UK fraud squad was able to trace £7.6 billion in corrupt payments from the Saudi Arabian arms deals to UK officials that included Tony Blair.

That investigation was summarily ended abruptly in the name of national security.

BAE systems have had a long standing sinking account to meet the pecuniary interests of the various international government officials it deals with.

Your NAF statement is not a statement of fact but of projection. To say cost effective then you have to have a parameter by comparison to make that conclusion. But you have none, what is your inference based on❓

Then the other observation amounts to convoluted overstatement of primary purpose. Particularly with the addition of advanced combat flight training.

This is an overpriced turboprop it's not a combat jet advanced flight trainer. Indeed every aircraft can be used for flight training it's just a question of how you choose to use it..

How long does it take to get a civilian flight licence for a turboprop with the USA FAA. If you have the time and money and depending on your CFI and your own ability two weeks more or less.

This is a forum it's not an academic think tank. Nonetheless, there has to be more than just supposition based on perception.

There should be a substantive definitive base line data that we can underpin our preferences and deductions upon. We should question not accept, we should appraise and balance not just believe.

Otherwise we run the risk of becoming noise making deceitful politicians. And loose the substantive informative core of what the forum should be.

Although not yourself but many take offence at opinions different than thier own. Then get all sanctimonious and acrimonious with infantile vitriolic rhetoric. But why

You obviously didn't read it. It isn't the NAF saying it, it is the manufacturers. The Super Tuncano is marketed as a light attack aircraft as well as a basic and advanced trainer. Now move on. The NAF know what they want. It may even double as the Alpha Jet replacement for basic/Advanced training that is in their development plans, hence based in Kainji. Then there is the loiter capability for ISR and lower running costs. All in all, a no brainer.

Good News today as Nigerian Troops Killed Notorious Militias Leader in Benue State, Terugwa Igbagwa aka Orjondu in a successful raid Ops. He was responsible for kidnapping, armed robbery, assassination, gun running activities around Katsina-Ala, Ukum & Logo LGA's for many years.

@rka2 don’t waste your time arguing with this guy calling Super Tucano an overpriced turbo-aircraft.
When the United States isshiftung from the A10 warthog to the Super Tucano because it’s simply easy to maintain as compared to other aircraft and can deliver most munitions interns of ground attack/strike.
