Just Deployed My App by Nobody: 12:04am On May 09, 2020 |
I'm fucking tired and can't wait to relax and watch my Black lightning s3 so I will not be as eloquent as I perhaps out to... But I thought this was worth sharing. The journey so far. I started learning programming last year October. A friend of mine had just gotten a job paying him 350k monthly and I was very envious, not cos of the money, but the fact that we are of comparable logical power and thinking ability and here he was earning a big check with his brains to validate his smarts meanwhile my two ventures at the time more physical skill intensive. I made the decision and sold my share of my main business to my partner (best decision, he's doing insanely well thanks to that move) even though it seemed crazy at that time in a financially uncertain Nigeria. Started learning in October like I said with HTML/CSS. Entered basic JavaScript by November. December was a total write off. Passion waned, lost focus and direction, watched movies more than anything. Came back from holidays in January PHCN add their own join, could only rely on the gen. Started with a renewed sense of purpose in February. Front end always sucked to me, being more logical than aesthetic minded. But a man gotta do what a man gotta do. Not been easy coupled with the fact that sometimes the stories u hear about web Development makes u wonder lol. Long story short, last month I got a contract to facilitate online homeschooling for private schools in my environs. Not in my wildest dreams did I think of something of this scale so soon, was thinking probably do an internship, get a job and clock some time before I'll be able to put a product out. What I'm saying is in any field you find yourself in? Put in the fvcking 10,000 hours and dull your ears to the critics. I had to give this site a wide berth when i realized a certain blackmailing piece of garbage was taking up too much of my energy until I figured out a technique to quickly scroll past and report the piece of slimes comment so I don't see it ever. P.S: The misguided cretin will soon be here to lament about how it feels threatened by me. My technique still works though Grandlord baby steps my brother Bunnae I am growing to appreciate girls in IT more these days.. U doing good with your stuff? Makavele I still appreciate the help from back then Pajosh Na man you be RemiAbdulSamad I go still be like you for front end one day 3 Likes

I have 3 questions: 1. How much did charge your client? 2. How much are you ready to part as giveaway? 3. Refer to 2. above. |

crownedrookie:Boss!!! I hail ooo. I checked the site. You've done a great job but there is room for improvement. Try adding some white space, I mean have enough padding and margin and try to fix the font weight of the headings. All most all the headings look the same making it difficult to differentiate between a h1 and h2. For now, those are what I observe. I will also try and advise you to learn small front end, I swear front end sweet pass back end sef. Nice work man, keep it up and never stop improving yourself. Need any help with front end, Just quote me 1 Like |

The foolish cretin doesn't want to display its frustration in life Please do not fail. The thread is too serious we need comic relief. Your imbecility is highly required and anticipated 2 Likes |
Re: Just Deployed My App by Nobody: 11:16am On May 09, 2020 |
RemiAbdulSamad:There's no h1 headers in fact. Noted about that but can you be precise about the margins and padding? Pick a view or two and tell me exactly where u think I should put more spacing. Aside from the view with the "Nothing in feed" text. I already updated that |

Grandlord:Lol after all your not any better than it. Birds of a feather they say... Do you have any live application? Let's see if you have anything upstairs. Well, I don't want it to look as though I'm into competition with you touts.. We have since left web development for touts like you. We're now into electricity, circuit board (embedded system) and low level programming languages. I don't meant to interact with you sha.. I'm only telling you these so your self esteem will not deteriorate completely. |
Re: Just Deployed My App by Nobody: 1:56pm On May 09, 2020 |
crownedrookie:I knew it! My instinct has never failed. I knew the reason you venture into programming at old age is because you want to compete with people around you even though its obvious you lack what it takes to succeed because you're just a local brothel patronizer where you roam day and night. By this time even people with zero technical knowledge can deploy websites there's no big deal. There's no big deal about downloading and playing around with source code from github, that does not make you a programmer, you're still very far from it. Lol I see you're already developing hypertension with dreadful fear anytime my name is mentioned, you don't even know me personally o.. You are now running to the mods for help. I wonder how you would cope in real world situation where I show zero sympathy to simpletons. You can never read and scroll pass my comments without taking action! You must surely reply cos you're a simpleton. Now I command you to drop a comment with respect to this post. Also hit the report button fast... Iwang. 2 Likes |

Re: Just Deployed My App by codeminta: 12:41am On May 10, 2020 |
crownedrookie:For that your recently deployed project 1.What stack did you use? 2.If it is node which framework pls 3.if node where do you host it and what hosting plan was used 4. How much can one charge for similar project? Thanks RSVP |
Re: Just Deployed My App by Nobody: 6:37am On May 10, 2020 |
codeminta:1/2) NodeJS back end, EJS templating engine front end. MongoDB database 3) Heroku for now but it will be moved 4) Depends on you. I could afford to charge a bit low because a) I'm servicing a lot of schools and b) I'm also being paid by most of the schools to train the teachers on using the app. But on a regular circumstance I would advice you as a developer to never undermine the worth of your product |
