Corps member, Dr. Ige Ayodeji Ezekie[/b]l with state code number [b]KW/19B/0046 [/b]serving at the University of Ilorin, Faculty of Life Sciences, Department of Optometry and Vision Science, Ilorin Kwara State. He is an indigene of Ekiti State, graduated with Doctor of Optometry degree from University of Benin, embarked on community development service projects in Tanke Oke-Odo community Ilorin, Kwara State.
Community development service is one of the cardinal point of (N.Y.S.C) program which create opportunity to corps members to add positive impact to the community of primary assignment. During the course of his service program, he was able to find some areas where he could be of help in Tanke Oke-Odo community. His personal development projects were divided into three sectors Education, Health and Skills Acquisition because he believes these sectors can contribute enormously to a nation economic elevation.

[b]EDUCATION
He renovated one classroom building at the community primary school, because he believes convenient environment can positively influence pupils attitude towards learning.

HEALTH
Organized ocular health awareness for the people of this community.
Conducted free eye examination for more than 150 adults in this community.
He donated 150 free reading glasses to the adults of this community, for ease and better comprehension of tiny prints.
He donated two first aid boxes to the community health care centre, to serve as first aid treatment of minor injuries.

SKILLS ACQUISITION PROGRAM
He invited an expert who taught the interested individuals on how to bake and make small chops.
He empowered 5 trainees with a capital of #10000 each to start the skills learnt.

When he was interviewed, he informed us that financial constrain was one major challenge he faced in the course of execution, as it is known that corps members are not expected to fund the development program. He advised other corps members interested in personal C.D.S. not to lose heart, but should have unrelenting desire and persistency. He appreciated the people of Tanke Oke-Odo community and his sponsors for their financial support.

LEADERSHIP ROLE
He served as the Vice President of Medical and Health CDS Ilorin South Local Government Kwara State.
He organized a successful medical outreach to Eyenkorin Community Ilorin, which made his CDS group to be awarded best CDS for the month of February.
