A lot of bribery and corruption go on behind closed doors in almost all the Nigerian top offices. I'm not surprised!

I think Keshi was our coach at 2014 world cup!

It's normal now...
Anyone who denies this, you should know such individual have lost touch with reality or he is corrupt too

In Nigeria it’s a matter of whether one has conscience or fear of God, regardless of whether one is in high places or not. Egunje is a way of life in Nigeria.

Humility017:

The most corrupt folks are Nigerians in position of authority

Starting from the government down to the coach they can steal anything .
They see every opportunity as an opportunity to enrich themselves.

With what I see here in Abuja daily I so much believe all this stories....

We all saw how Keshi almost turned the super eagles team to a business centre where the highest bidder gets invitation...

Dude was a motivator so he felt he could even motivate and inspire lizard to fly

Just remembering those times I think there have been two Nigerian coaches who I haven't heard much accusations about them, that is Eguavoen and Shuaibu Amodu and if memory serves me right both of them always featured our best when they were coaches. The only thing was I think their man management and tactical acumen was poor.

Eguavoen was corrupt too. Very corrupt.

A modu, I have not heard any negative stories about.

Let me correct that Ndidi will face fierce competition from Billing if the latter switches allegiance as rumors are suggesting. Ndidi does not deserve an untouchable status in SE yet. But let’s see Billing play first for SE.

Ndidi is untouchable

Billing playing for eagles wont scare ndidi abeg

What ndidi is to nigeria is what ramos/busquets is to the spanish national team, busquets is no longer the busquets we used to know but his place in the spanish team is still untouchable

You will be hard-pressed to find a National team indigenous coach that has not been involved in corruption whether directly or indirectly.

Sometimes, it is the players that entice them with money through their agents. We are not talking about small money, thousands of USD.

So even when the coach does not demand money, they would have money dangled in front of them.

Look at the case of Salisu.

It could be a great move, Chukwueze needs a team built around him due to his maverick nature of play and he doesn't have that luxury at Villarreal

A youth-centric team built around Chukwueze could unleash the beast in him

Why would he mention a name, everybody knows this is a modus operandi in Nigerian football not like he is making an outlandish claim, and mentioning a name could put him at security risk

This is Nigeria you would blow a whistle and go missing and nobody would care

It's time he move to a bigger club to continue his development.
Or don't players unleash the beast in them in big clubs? grin

Do you think it is easy to point at a stakeholder in Nigeria and accuse him of wrongdoing without proper backing?

I'm 100% behind Obasi in not mentioning any body's name though people like you would not believe him but it would give other Nigerian footballers in such situation to come out and speak at least

Emma Sarki came out with a similar accusation without mentioning names.

Sometimes, the players themselves are not completely clean. They have also paid money to someone early in their careers.

I totally support this from you. Imagine Chukwueze joining Nice as their star player and because of that he gets a starting shirt, he plays their penalties and at the end of maybe his first or second season he registers 12-15 goals and maybe 7-10 assist. He will be more valued in football with such stats than staying on the bench for Villarreal, not because he isn't good enough to start but because Villarreal coach is a racist who prefers only Spanish players
