If Chukwueze goes to Nice he would be the most high profile player there, it is very easy to see the team built around him

Please stop making laugh...

He should go to Nice then if he can't fit in like mane and sallah co he should forget it...

The WORLD now won't give what you deserve but what you demand from it

I don't understand you, Chukwueze is a better footballer than most of you here are giving him credit for, though he doesn't have a high goal/assist contribution, his dribbles, key passes and chances created are one of the best in Europe

Forget about the level of the clubs they play for first..
Ndidi is class above Billings.. their stats in the premier league proves that.

Even when Leicester were struggling under Peul,Ndidi was churning out good performances..
He is without doubt among the top 3 best defensive midfielders in the world right now.

His performance in the SE hasn't really been top notch, but saying Billing will be a threat to him is simply laughable...

Nobody is talking abt club performance, we all knw he's miles ahead..according to joebie, separate club form from country form
What if he's giving a chance and he outperform ndidi ?..will u still insist ndidi must start cos he plays well for Leicester

I am not campaigning for billing, but let's stop having dis mindset of judging players with club form when playing for d national team...na wetin d player dey ball for us we wan knw,not relying on club statistics,I am for any player who plays well for d national team ahead of club performance cool

Dude wake up smell the coffee, which team is going to build its team around a youthful player who is just starting and is not by any means the most outstanding player in La Liga.

You more than most should know that, dont allow sentiment to carry you away to dreamland.

I agree with this statement. It is too far-fetched to expect any European team to build itself around an above-average player like Chuks.

What he needs now is a coach that can guide his development. Just like Klopp.

Not unnecessary pressure. Build a team around Chukwueze? Very Laughable

Ndidi is untouchable

Billing playing for eagles wont scare ndidi abeg

What ndidi is to nigeria is what ramos/busquets is to the spanish national team, busquets is no longer the busquets we used to know but his place in the spanish team is still untouchable

Do Spanish team have better player in that position?

Do you think it is easy to point at a stakeholder in Nigeria and accuse him of wrongdoing without proper backing?

I'm 100% behind Obasi in not mentioning any body's name though people like you would not believe him but it would give other Nigerian footballers in such situation to come out and speak at least

so u rather the allegation stay as hearsay? Without a name the allegation is simply a rumor. U act like the said stakeholders are members of the mafia....

Adelakun Was The One Doing All The Job Looking For Players' - Nigeria Great Odegbami Blasts Rohr

In a no-holds-barred interview with Nigerian television station Plus TV Africa monitored by allnigeriasoccer.com, legendary Nigeria winger Segun Odegbami strongly criticized the decision of the Nigeria Football Federation to give a new contract to Gernot Rohr.

The Franco-German football tactician is on the verge of inking a new deal with the NFF amidst all the conditions laid out in the proposed deal, including living in Nigeria to monitor potential Super Eagles players in the domestic championship and being paid in the local currency.

"I don't know about the plot to send him packing, I have been an advocate of the end of foreign coaches in Nigerian football and I stand by that," said Odegbami.

"It is very insensitive of people at this time in our history considering where we are now with the coronavirus opening our eyes to the new realities of the world for us to continue to go back to something that has failed us."

The highlight of Odegbami's interview was when he revealed that English-based scout of Nigerian descent, Tunde Adelakun was the one doing most of the job assigned to Rohr.

Adelakun has often been sighted at English Premier League match venues monitoring players of Nigerian descent with a view to a call-up to the national team.

"Gernot Rohr didn't succeed, he took all that money, didn't spend his time in this country.

"A black young Nigerian man, Tunde Adelakun was the one doing all the job, combing the whole of Europe to look for players and all Gernot Rohr was doing was spending few days to assemble players and play matches.

"Besides that his scoreline is not anything that Nigerians have not done before so we must put an end to this slavery and colonial mentality," Odegbami added.

The 1980 Africa Cup of Nations winner concluded by saying that an indigenous coach should be in charge of the Super Eagles

"Nigerians at this point have to look inwards, everything around us shows that these people out there don't love us so they can't love our country more than us.

"We have Nigerians who can do the job, they have always done the job and they can still do the job.

"Gernot Rohr, we have no business discussing with him, his contract expires in June, he should just go quietly."

Igho Kingsley

Dunno why this sounds like Cock and Bull story to me.

Same side, different views.

The Local or indigenous coaches should prove good point first and enough. The SE isnt a lab for experimentals.

We can't separate club from country in this context because Billing hasn't played for the super eagles yet.. you are just assuming that he will be a threat to Ndidi in the national team because Ndidi hasn't performed up to expectation..

So we will just go with the more reasonable criteria for rating both players which is their premier league stats..

Let me correct that Ndidi will face fierce competition from Billing if the latter switches allegiance as rumors are suggesting. Ndidi does not deserve an untouchable status in SE yet. But let’s see Billing play first for SE.

It could be a great move, Chukwueze needs a team built around him due to his maverick nature of play and he doesn't have that luxury at Villarreal

A youth-centric team built around Chukwueze could unleash the beast in him
He can do it at his beloved Chelsea or any big la liga team, not some UnNice team..... He has proved he can get playing time and influence big games......

Ndidi has never been spectacular for the Super Eagles whenever he's paired along with Etebo. Etebo is always involve in the tackling, interception and all the running around. But what I noticed was that when Aribo was paired with Ndidi, (especially against Brazil) he stood out.

Starting from the government down to the coach they can steal anything .
They see every opportunity as an opportunity to enrich themselves.

With what I see here in Abuja daily I so much believe all this stories....

Dude was a motivator so he felt he could even motivate and inspire lizard to fly

getting who went to watch him in poland will reveal the names of the bribe collectors!

Based on my level of expertise, garnered for many years, in observation of the human mind, specifically, the minds of those of negroid race, in most parts of the West African region, I willll be posting my personal opinion on why this is so.

I therefore, implore, the elite members of this thread, that they indulge me, on a topic that would be regarded as a deviation on this thread.

Honestly, the black race, has always been intrigued by those who look nothing like us. The same way the white race is intrigued by those who look nothing like them.

Colonialism not only introduced caucasians to the negroid race, it also indoctrinated the negroid race, into their own beliefs....including what should be considered attractive.

Now, if you notice, lots of negorids find eurocentric features attractive; light skin, curly hair, an aquiline nose, colored eyes....you know, features found in white people. Of all these features though, the most worshipped has to be the skin and the hair texture, because these are features that are somewhat rare around these parts. So, your cousins attracted all of that attention, because, they were unique. Same way in a room filled with ladies of various complexions, the average negro male, is more likely to be attracted to the ladies of lighter complexion than those with a darker tone. You could also blame years of this indoctrination, that light is right, for such an attraction.

Now, flip it over, and a negroid finds themselves in a place filled with white people. You are now the unique person, and in much the same way, white people are intrigued by the different skin tone and hair texture. So, the darker skinned negros, are more likely to attract the attention of white people, due to their uniqueness, than the lighter ones. That is why, in the UK, your cousins grew invisible; because over there, their skin tone and hair texture is common, but yours isn't.

I have so much more to say on this topic, but for the purpose of this thread, this is where I drop my golden pen in the basket of psychology. Gracias

Nice waiting to hear more.

Its dishearting and shameful to see few shameless fans here barking down on the claims of sarki and obasi with regards to their interview on ex eagles coaches demanding for bribe from them before before they will mk the super eagles team.

Its was obvious and glaring to every real soccer fan prior to the 2013 afcon and 2014 world cup. Obasi in the second half of that season was a regular figure in schalke who were in the champion league that season. He was miles better than uzoenyi, uchebo and nwofor.

A certain gabriel reuben who didnt play a league game all season in lowly rated scottish side kilmanock made the world cup team, same with uchebo who had only 6 goals that season in the colors of cercle brugge whereas imoh had over a dozen goals with sizzling performances in the same league.

Even osaze odenwingie who was doing well in the epl then was forced on keshi whom have already pencilled him down to be dropped. The likes of ekwuekwe and one other local based defender that i cant remember his name made the list at the expense of heereeven's young cb then in the person of otigba.

After the 2013 afcon triumph i was happy but wasnt satisfied with the way selections were made and i knew that in no distance time that "fowl yarsh go blow open" which started immediately after the 2014 world cup.

Its only a myopic mind will stand and boast that keshi isnt the most corrupt coach ever to handle the super eaglez

Players who keshi denied deserved places in the 2014 world cup were

Obasi- schalke 04
Obafemi martins- seatle sounders
Imoh ezekiel- standard liege
Ike uche- villareal
Abdul ajagun- panathinakos
Kenneth otigba- heereveen
Sone aluko- hull city
Taiya taiwo-dynamo kiev
Brown ideye- dynamo kiev
Haruna lukman- dynamo kiev
