delectablegyal:Guys have never lived in denial so your analogy doesn’t make sense perhaps you don’t know what hypocrisy means. What he’s saying is yall yap about feminism and being woke but won’t want your male blood to be involved with a feminist. Yall can’t stand your mother in-laws in the name of being woke but will want to control your daughter in-laws and be protective of your son when you age . You say we cheat and are polygamists yet yall will know a guy is in a relationship, you’ll even know his wife or GF yet you’ll be drooling over him. Who’s the hypocrite? 2 Likes 2 Shares |

ladyGKilaBCrueD:he is trying to spread the gospel to fellow guys who haven’t heard to avoid stories that touch. You can simply avoid the thread. I think why you are worked up is that guys are getting woke by the day na baby mama things for most guys now and ladies are mostly on the receiving end as guys hardly settle with single moms these days. Yall should change 1 Like |

GIdiata:How did your mother bring you up? What makes your upbringing better than that of those of the female gender that you should should suppose that their right to be equal to you in everywise ought to be based on their upbringing? Sad reality is that you don't even realize that your own mother is impacted by the inequality that is Nigerian culture and law. Have you not realized that she is a female and if you deem the upbringing of women a condition to their right to equality, you, in the same breath, condemn your own mother to the same fate. 1 Like |

Kobojunkie: Your thinking low Sha ooo Shu Na so something dey hard you comprehend? If u have a working brain, you would have been able to ascertain that the upbringing I'm referring to is that of a male child not a female child. Go back to the topic, read the points I highlighted I hope it helps you understand that the up bring is that of a male child. How you you women bring up ur male children/brothers. |

Re: The Hypocrisy And Selfishness Of Nigerian Women by Kobojunkie: 9:51pm On May 09, 2020 |
GIdiata:Equality SHOULD NOT BE BASED on how each woman chooses to bring up their male children/brothers etc. The selfishness of some women should not impact their right to equality in any way or sense. The argument for or against equality should have nothing to do with that. That said, I agree that there is a problem with the way women raise their children in Nigeria, and we ought not to forget that most of them do so because of what is considered the cultural norms in the country. Even when a mother strives to raise her children to see all genders as equals, society at large still does not recognize such positions, and it makes it difficult for these kids to truly grow up into the better humans they ought to become. 1 Like |

GIdiata: I do not believe it is as clear cut as you make it out to be. Many of these women are blind -- they cannot see what they do. Why? Because they themselves where raised in a culture and society that endorses male superiority. And so with this already built into their identity, they are essentially lost as far as even recognizing the problem that you point out there. Imagine the case of a woman who already has 5 daughters, but still believes that she has to have a male child in order to properly validate her place as wife of her husband. This Nigerian woman has lived in the U.S for over 12 years. So, this cultural cancer runs deep for some of them. 1 Like |
