Sometimes you will think the person is from rivers state but when you actually find out they are igbos

Ipobians wont like this ... I thought they explicitly claimed Rivers state is Igbo land so what is this that O.P is trying to say, just the other day Husbandsnatcher claimed she isn't Igbo yet she is from Rivers State, another Anioma Delta guy was ranting how he isn't a Biafran or Igbo

Ngwaoshi also claimed many part of Anambra belongs to Asaba and delta people

we bear those names as surname, not just names, personally I'm really do not like the English names sha, even my surname sounds like a Mexican name, I'm just saying we bear the names as surname and when you find someone with the name, it's easy to say he's from Rivers, it's different from Cletus and the rest. Slaves inherit their masters surname to show they are his (master) property.
You guys need to do away with those things.
Don't pride yourself in slavery.
They are not indigenous of your people.
