Redstone: Thank You, no mind these cretins wey dey talk nonsense. Inasmuch as I don't like the lockdown that much, certain directives must be in place to curtail the spread of Co-vid19, cause the virus is on a high rise. 1 Like 1 Share |

He has no legal backing and constitutional right to demolish the hotels for flouting the lockdown rules. It is abuse of power! You either sue or fine with legal conditions. 1 Like |

This is illiteracy and insensitivity on the part of the governor. Wike announced a lockdown on just two LGAs being Obio-Akpor and Port Harcourt LGAs and these hotels are in Eleme LGA not in either of the locked down LGAs so if this is not a personal vendetta, why would he do this? This man is getting stranger by the day; he needs to change his medication ASAP. 1 Like |

realvikash: It is you that is not getting it. No one is saying that defaulters should not be punished. However, punishment should be commensurate. Consider this, if you, realvikash, were driving your SUV and you accidentally flouted the traffic light rules, would you maintain this your opinion if FRSC were to seize your car and physically destroy it completely? Should the punishment for slander or libel or even fraudulent acts be the death sentence? Cos that's pretty much what Wike is doing. |

Is that what the law says should happen in this circumstance?? Think about the general repercussions of the decision to demolish a well established business. There are better sanctions that would serve as deterrence, please |

Why demolish?! This is counter-productive. Money was spent to build, money will be spent to demolish. Why not convert to something useful. |

ThierryJay: No, that's not what he's doing. As far as he gave a directive before it happened, that's a big difference. Nigerians normally no dey hear word. They like flouting orders. So this punishments will serve as deterrents to future defaulters 1 Like |
