OP at the end asked, WHAT CAN GOD NOT Do?

Answer: heal an amputee. Funny enough Salamanders and starfishs grow back lost limbs without screaming the name of a dead son of a Jewish carpenter but humans can't grow back theirs no matter the level of prayer being offered to an omnipotent god who said you'd get anything you ask for in his name if you have faith even if it's as small as a mustard seed. Looks like no amputee has faith lol

Can you say boldly that you have never personally felt the power of God at any point/any day in your life? If your answer is no then I understood your frustration. However, some of us can NEVER deny the power of God because we have personally encountered it. How do I explain 25 of us attending an interview for an electrical engineering job position, with only me being the science student. After prayers, my pastor told me that I'll get the job. The CEO just came around and told me that he liked my spoken English, rescheduled me for a private interview. And it was only after he gave me the job that he got to know that I am not an engineer. It was too late for him to reverse the appointment. He just liked me. Today I have scaled through the ranks and I am at the top of the organisation. This is just one out of many encounters of what Jesus has done.

I can’t even begin to imagine what a life without God is! A life without Christ!
Even in our imperfections! The consciousness that God is with us!

My testimonies are loud! Sharing them on a public forum will be revealing too much...

But God is the one and only Almighty!

Interesting but I don't see any correlation between the accident and your engagement.

Besides don't you think an accident is too dramatic and risky to use as a warning to ask you not to marry a girl?

Just saying
well, I think it was just to call my attention to his assignments for me. The lady is a good girl oo. We didn't part ways because of the accident.

Wow!. What a wonderful God we have as a Father. I wouldn't have been alive today if not for his grace.

On the 11th of December, 2018 at about 10am, I was sent with a driver to pick up a client to inspect a property somewhere in Rivers State. By the way I reside in Port Harcourt. The agreed pickup point was Genesis fast food at Trans Amadi. The driver drove to the entrance of the premises which is also shared by a couple of other businesses, the building directly faces the Trans Amadi express road. As we approached and tried to navigate into the premises, we had no idea that a robbery was going on there outside at the car pack, the robbers had finished and were quickly making their exist.

All I saw was an armed man with an Ak47 riffle loaded with 4 magazines of bullet, at this point we had blocked the exit way from the premises while the robbers vehicle was right in front of us, so it appeared as if we were there to block their escape, instantly one of them took his gun, corked it and came straight at us, he rested on our car's bonnet and directly aimed that heavily loaded gun at us, I quickly fell backwards in the car to avoid taking a direct hit, the driver froze and couldn't move. Thank God he froze, because if he had released his legs from the break, the car would have hit the gun man, that would have been like a declaration of war!.

What happened next was simply a miracle, the guy looked at us though obviously scared because a little delay could cause them their lives as that area has a number of well armed security men, but the ones at the premises fled when the Armed robbers came. The gun man stepped away, directed his colleague to revise and take another turn. Imagine armed robbers giving you way when you obviously had blocked them, and put their life in danger?. People were just watching it like movie.

After everything, I and the driver were the center of attention, people didn't even border about the man robbed of 10m. A man said, 'I don't know why that guy didn't shoot you, maybe he was not high enough', another man said 'o boy if you have not been serving God you better start now!'.

The funny thing is, after escaping the incident, I and the driver fell sick from the shock for almost 1 week, as I couldn't believe that I was still alive. Till today each time I remember it, it sends shivers down my spine.

Indeed our God is faithful.

I told God I would not complain again no matter what, because the life I now have is not mine anymore.

Praise the Lord!.

Halleluyah

[quote author=chronique post=89386396]Hmm. Had several near death experiences but I'd share 3. One told to me and two personal experiences. My mom once narrated how I passed out as a child and God used my late dad to bring me back to life. I was still a baby at the time and she had just breastfed me and placed me in the baby cot to sleep only for her to come back to check me later and I was still, cold and not moving/breathing. She busted into tears and was crying. Then my dad came around and when he noticed what was happening, he asked them to boil hot water. He placed me on his lap over the hot water and hot balm covered with towel and despite the thing burning him, I didn't move but the man didn't give up and he kept on trying until I eventually sneezed and came back to life. My mom was suggesting they take me to the hospital but he told her they'd just put me in the morgue if he takes me there. After God, I owe him and my mom my life though.

Second experience : As a young man in the higher institution, I'd made the mistake of being with people I should not have been with. One time, we had an issue and had to go visit a certain alfa/medicine man. We sat around burning candles, were made to recite several incantations and given something to eat with incision made on our head and of course, some midnight incantations done. This was the beginning of serious demonic and occultic torment in my life. For years, I kept seeing and experiencing different kinds of attacks at night. By 7pm, I'd be seeing owls already perching on the next building and looking towards my direction. There was practically no night that I was able to sleep in peace. Was always in different worlds and kingdoms being chased by people and wild animals. So bad I couldn't sleep in my room at some point and went to start sleeping in my sisters room on the floor. I was always scared of the nights coming as I became apprehensive every day once it gets to evening and would be seriously praying for the morning to come when it's night. At some point, I'd wake up in the morning feeling very weak like blood had been drawn out of my body. I started raising up my bed to see if there was a calabash or something where my blood was going into but I didn't see anything. Then came a certain night when I woke up in the middle of the night to see about 4/5 people in my room. 3 knelt at my side with their mouth on my body while 2 stood against the door. As I opened my eyes and my eyes met their eyes, I was too weak and frightened to shout. I watched them stand up one they each moved gently one by one to the window and dissolved into something like particles and disappeared one after the other. For more than 30 minutes after they left, I was too scared and shocked to even move. Before then, I had always made gest of mfm and their fall down and die prayers but when I eventually got up that night, I went to one my sisters room and woke her to pray with me. The prayers drew my father's attention and he had to come check what was going on. The next morning, I quickly went in search of an mfm branch near me for prayers as I couldn't imagine what the night would be like. The prayers didn't stop the attacks eventually but it was the beginning of my journey to deliverance.

Third incident : during one of those many nights of torments and afflictions, I found myself in another world and I was with so many people struggling to swim out of a thick muddy water that had insects biting people. Some people were sinking in it while some of us were struggling to stay up. I managed to get out and was taken to the presence of an old man. They said he was a war lord from several ages and he said he wouldn't allow me go. He was sitting on a wooden native chair. There was a young boy by his side also pleading on my behalf. I eventually tried to run and he sent people after me. I was chased to a dark lonely road where I could no longer run again and the people chasing me were laughing at me and saying it was already too late. I was crying profusely and then I heard a voice saying "my son, it's not too late. It's just 25 mins after one". That voice rescued me and asked me to come with him. As I opened my eyes in the real world and looked at the clock beside my bed, it was exactly 25mins past one at night. If that voice didn't rescue me, I obviously wouldn't have woken up.

All these events got my mom taking me from one pastor to the other until we met a man of God after one church service. When he was about praying for me, he stopped barely a minute into the prayers, paused for a while and then asked my mom to ask me where I went to and what I did. That was how I eventually narrated how we went about the whole thing. My mom was shocked. The man told her it was a very serious issue. Apparently, I had dedicated my life back then to the witch mother and asked them to watch over me 24 hrs of the day. It eventually explained why I always felt people walking behind me during the day but each time I turned back, I wouldn't see anybody. It took me several years again to remember the exact incantations I made back then. It was on the first of January of a particular year. We had just closed from crossover service and I was sitting in the living room when those words came fresh in my mind. I asked my mom to interpret them cos they were made in yoruba. She was shocked and asked me where I heard such. I just told her to tell me what it meant and I eventually told her the origin of those words. That was the eventual beginning of my road to deliverance that spurned several years of prayers and fasting and everything. I eventually got delivered from the "Iya osorunga" that I had committed my life to. The bottom line is that, even though I got into that covenant, my head did not agree with it. Hence, the several torments and attempts to take my life through those years it lasted. Now, I can freely talk about it and lend some form of advice to the younger ones. It's been about 17 years from when I first made that mistake and more than 10 years since I got my deliverance. Today, anybody who doesn't believe in God and doesn't pay attention to prayers can't have a place in my life. [/quote

God is ever faithful. Praise be His Name

2005, I was travelling to Kaduna to visit my sister for a few weeks holiday. I remember telling God that I commit my spirit into His hands.

Normally any little thing wakes me up from sleep. I slept off in the luxurious Bus, only for me to wake up when everyone was returning back into the Bus. I saw many people injured and I asked the guy sitting beside me what happened, I looked out of the window and I saw plenty cars packed and everyone ran into the bush cos of armed robbers that blocked them and was shooting sporadically for so many minutes I couldn't tell. Immediately a scripture came into my spirit.."I will give my beloved Sleep.

Second was after my school, someone tied me down spiritually that I always fall sick but don't know what's the sickness except malaria always. One day, we went to where I always go for prayers. The prayer do start by 12am. We were all sleeping before the prayer will start...then a woman met the coordinator of the prayer that she wants to take over and by then the woman has been informed that someone will come take over that night...as we were praying, the woman called me out and said around 4 O'clock...the Angel of the Lord appeared to her to come to Imo state and deliver someone. Thats how I was delivered practically with demonstration as I was kneeling down. The demon left me and I became free and got job that same year. For seven months I couldn't come out except to sneak and go to that prayer ministry every Tuesday. I remember the rumour then that I got HIV in school. God is faithful..

Countless time God has saved me from fatal accidents.

It was in November 2007, I was driving from Kano to jos in a seven months old Peugeot 206, of course it was a new car. On my way a military man asked me to help his wife and child to Jos which I did. We were approaching Jos main town and at a place called mista Ali about 5 minutes or less to Jos city center I lost control of the car. The car went off the road and there was a Christian missionary school with a very high perimeter fence by the road side. As the vehicle went off the road it pierced through the fence and continue moving in the compound to about 30 meters before stopping. I only new when the car swapped from the road , I didn't know when it pierced through the fence, I only saw myself sitting in a damaged car covered with heavy dust with the engine still working.
I gently removed my sit belt opened the driver's seat came out and assisted the 2
people with me to come out. As I was trying to assist my co travellers to come out I vividly heard women from the nearby houses crying thinking we were dead because of the impact the car had with the fence.
Thank God missionaries were in the premises holding meeting but before they could reach and render assistance we were already out of the car. When people gathered the started asking where is the driver they were surprised when I told them I was the driver. I only sustain a very small would not up to the size of the opposite end of a ball pen on one of my wrists and non of the other 2 people sustained any injury. We were still taken to the hospital but no internal injuries identified and that same day I reported to work in my office. Thank God for the devine protection.

Look at it like this:

Let's say you buy a piece of land and you give some money to some estate managers to help you erect a building on that land.

At the end of the day, who built the house?

You or the estate managers?

Mine was on August 1, 2015. I was traveling from Ilorin to Oyo town to see the parents of my ex then. I was driving and I had a friend also seated beside me on the front seat beside the driver. I wanted to stylishly convey my serious intention to her parents, so I bought different kinds of fruits and wrapped them like engagement items and kept them inside the boot.

Mind you I was supposed to attend a vigil on the eve of that day (Friday, 31st July), but I chose not too, because I would be traveling the following morning.

So, on getting to Alata area, before Deeper Life Camp (on the Ilorin-Ogbomosho expressway), I was not really overspeeding, but my car suddenly started swerving. By that time, I had lost control of the wheels, so, the car was just swerving on the road while on speed. My friend kept calling me and asking me about what was going on, and suddenly, the car hit one of these road dividers made of concrete and then summersaulted thrice and then faced the direction I was coming from (Ilorin). Now, the last thing I still remember was that when the car hit the road divider. I was GONE! It was as if there was a total blackout.

This was around 12pm. I remember seeing myself in a place where I met an old man. The old man asked me what I was doing there, I didn't utter a word. So, he told me to go back to where I was coming from, that I had not even done the work he gave me. At that time, I started hearing faintly the cry of people, and then after about 3 to 4 hours, I opened my eyes and I saw about four Doctors and Nurses doing suitures on my head and ear. I had memory loss and was just looking at everyone in the Theater. After some time, I asked where I was and I was told Lautech Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso. I then began to ask them what had happened. They tried to ask me information about my family but I remembered none until after about an hour again.

I then saw my friend who by God's grace didn't sustain any serious injury. He then narrated the story: After my car (Honda bulldog) summersaulted thrice and stopped, the car bonnet flew to the other devide of the expressway. The car became a write off and to bring me out was a task. While my friend was brought out through the side window, the people who rushed to the scene had to use Cutlass and some metals to further break the car into pieces and then brought out my dead body. People were already wailing when a Pastor driving in his church bus offered to carry my body and my friend to the Teaching Hospital. As the man was driving, he was crying and praying that God should prove himself. That was on Saturday.

On Monday, my elder sister was returning from Lagos and when she got to the spot where the accident occurred, the driver of the commercial bus she boarded was showing the passengers that that was where a serious accident occurred on Saturday and a young guy died. Then, my sister told the guy that the guy came back to life, but the guy disbelieved. When it became an argument, my elder sister called me and I spoke to her while in the commercial bus. Could you believe that nothing happened to the fruits in the booth, including the wine I bought? Funningly too, myself and the girl didn't eventually marry.

WHAT CAN GOD NOT Do? Pls, share your own experience of God's Miracles and wonderful Acts. PLEASE, Let this testimony make the from page (to the glory of God) abeg!

I believe in God and I can testify to his goodness and mercy over me and mine. I have been lost and I have been found. I do not claim that I am a perfect believer because there are days of questions and I have realized that the only thing that is perfect is God Himself. No knowledge is, no religion is, no man is. Our concept of God is flawed so we cannot really understand Him or His will. When things don't go our way, we think we have been abandoned or easily declare He does not exist.

To the unbelievers, I respect your wishes but should you ever find your way back to God, you will be stronger. I can only wish you the best. I have been there and I have found God to be the best comforter in time of confusion and distress. The best provider in time of need and the one who has been preserving my life ... it can only be Him. Happy Sunday!
