Gudlite: I can feel the fear in you brother as a dog foist its tail in between his legs. God guarantee your income and not tithe. The same God that guarantee the income of those who channel there money to works of charity and its the same God that blesses those who don't even come to church. His ways and not our ways. God blesses everyone. |

Let anybody that wants to pay tithe pay ooooo. This horse has been over flogged. The answer is in the bible but because Africans don't read and believe words from their pastors that twist the Bible for them they will continuing being gullible and scammed. I thank God he has blessed me to be able to send something substantial every month. Afterall they took care of me and paid my bills till I got a job. If anything, there are poor and vulnerable people all over the world and I know how I can legitimately reach them. But for me to give my hardwork to one pastor to fuel private jet or purchase Gucci? When I'm not cursed. 2 Likes |

somehow: What is the difference between six and half a dozen... ..where is the difference. "And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all." (KJV'1611+, Genesis 14:20) "and blessed be [the] (most) high God, by whom defending (thee), (thine) enemies be betaken into thine hands. And Abram gave tithes of all things to him. (and blessed be the Most High God, who hath delivered thy enemies into thy hands. And Abram gave him a tithe of all the things that he had recovered.)" (WYC'2014, Genesis 14:20) "And blessed be the Most High God, through whose protection the enemies are in your hands.” And he gave him tithes from everything." (CPDV, Genesis 14:20) "And praysed be God the Hyest, which hath delyuered thine enemies in to thy handes. And Abram gaue him tythes of all." (CVB, Genesis 14:20) "And blessed be the most high God, which has delivered your enemies into your hand. And he gave him tithes of all." (BSV, Genesis 14:20) And blessed be the most high God, by whose protection the enemies are in thy hands. And he gace him the tithes of all." (DRB, Genesis 14:20) "And blessed be the hye God which hath delyuered thyne enemyes in to thy hande. And Abram gaue him tythes of all." (GB1, Genesis 14:20) LXXe, Gen 14:20 and blessed be the most high God who delivered thine enemies into thy [ ‡ ] power. And Abram gave him the tithe of all. "And Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) be the most high God- El ‘Elyon which has delivered youi enemies into youri hand. And he gave him tithes of all." (NMV'18, Genesis 14:20) "And Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) be the most high God- El ‘Elyon which has delivered youi enemies into youri hand. And he gave him tithes of all." (NMV'18, Genesis 14:20) "and blessid be hiy God, bi whom defendynge, enemyes ben bitakun in thin hondis. And Abram yaf tithis of alle thingis to hym." (WYC, Genesis 14:20) And blessed be Ha `Elyon 'Elohim , which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand . And he gave him tithes of all." (HKJV+, Genesis 14:20) "and blessed be the most high God who delivered your enemies into your [ ‡ ] power. And Abram gave him the tithe of all." (LXX'12-uk, Genesis 14:20) The above are some of the oldest versions of the bible .... whether it was called tithe or tenth is of no importance but that Abraham not told by anybody including God gave tithe or one tenth of his new possessions to the king who happens to also bear titles reserved till date for Jehovah God ....... king of Peace and King of Righteousness. We are not told why Abraham gave him but that he met a king outside of the Levite’s ...a king who is not a Leviticus and gave him tithe without the Bible recording that it was the practice but he gave him tithe of all his new acquisitions , his new additions . ... we don’t know if that was his practice EVERYTIME new Additions came to him ....whether he offered them to God as a sacrifice . But one thing is clear , it was practiced as a way of life by Abraham , how we he learnt it , before it became a law four hundred years afterward, we don't know Tithe as a law didn’t extend to christians for there was no Christianity when the law was given. When He spoke of tithe again it was so meat ....essentials ... may be in his house . This is the tithe that the church leaders were practicing when Jesus came on the scene. No Levite was mentioned when Jesus came on the scene as prophets and law men had already taken over the scene. The two prominent sect and teachers were the Sadducee and the Pharisee backed by the lawyers . They all were paying tithe so that meat may abound in the temple . As they got new mint and comings they brought tithe of it. Jesus alluded to it ...every thing new in their life’s merited tithe but they were short on the justice , mercy seat. Jesus told them so when he said to them that as much as their tithe made meat abound there was a greater matter that they always left undone and they should include it and pursue it with the same passion as they offered the church their tithe You asked why Jesus didn’t pay tithe and I have to say this: Jesus Christ was the tithe collector and owner .. he received it from Abraham as a king. The title of that king is not known to belong to anyone else ... king of peace and righteousness. He was not of the order of the Levite’s but he received it from the father or grand great father of the Levite’s , Abraham . He is the one acknowledging the tithe as Heb 7:8 stated. At any rate , tithe is on additions and we siding read where he went to war, farmed or had new additions but he was rich and self sufficient. Tax was for the government of the esrth run by the political leadership and tithe was for the heavens government administered by Jesus as the head of the church .. Jesus demonstrated that nobody was too big or spiritusl to flout government order on their incomes We are not under law. Hallelujah. We exited the law or had Jesus fulfilled all that was needed for us to able to enter into the presence of God. Jesus didn’t exempt us from our responsibilities of ensuring that the church runs smoothly ... he asked his disciple when he sent them out for mission works without purse if they lacked anything and they said they lacked nothing .... people they ministered to certainly you must have met their needs. It didn’t rain from heaven. The tithe we pay today is outside the law . It is Abrahamic order of tithe that there may be essential in the house of God. Melchizedek was introduced as Priest of the most high needing the meats ... he was not a Levite’s but even higher than them because they could not appropriate the title he went by ... king of peace and righteousness. We are of Abraham not the Levite’s and we are paying our tithe on every new additions to Melchizedek, the king of peace and righteousness, who lives forever. |

Not paying tithes and giving to the poor is robbing God.
Says who? Did Jesus, the apostles, and the disciples of Christ pay or teach about tithing? |
Re: Do You Still Pay Your Tithes And Offerings? by somehow: 4:28pm On May 10, 2020 |
Did you reread what you wrote? I don't want us to just keep running in a circle, hence the reason I am just going ask questions based on your own statements Jesus didn't pay tithe because he was a tithe collector yet never collected any tithe all through his stay on earth? Second, did Abraham give the 10th from his own properties, normal business, or farm produce or from what he gained from going to war? 10th of spoils of war is NOT SAME with 10th of your earnings, increase, produce, so note this! How come he only did this once and never again? was it because there were no priests in the land after that meeting? At the time Abraham did what he did, there were nothing like the 12 tribes of Israel, and God had not entered any covenant with the tribe of Levi, so how then you tag such tithe when it was nonexistent? Why did the apostles and disciples not take or pay tithes nor preached it? The so-called "Abrahamic kind of tithe you are paying was commanded to you by who, when, and how?" can you show us who started doing that? I can see that you have ignored plenty of my questions, yet talking about things outside the real tithe and what it entails. You did not define tithe, nor define who to give, where to give, and who qualifies to collect such. Lastly, does not paying tithe stop you from entering heaven? Nodogragra4me: |

somehow: The statement Jesus was the tithe collector is a manner of speaking .... Jesus referred to himself as the Lord of the harvest and therefore wasn't Lund by the laws governing the harvest. When Abraham paid tithe to Melchizedek, the King of Peace didn't pay to another because he is the ultimate collector of the tithe ... Heb 7 says without contradiction, the LESS is bless of the higher ... King of Righteousness was higher than Abraham , the father of the Levites How did Abraham come to have the sense to give a tenth of this spoil of war to the Priest? Hundreds of years before God made it a law. Hope you have seen that the oldest Bible's from Catholic public to duoy reihms all calls it tithe .. Bible that are over a houssnd years old called it tithe not five hundred years old. ...Bible's written from manuscript not translations of existing works called it tithe Jesus Christ could not have made tithe a teaching when it was already in practice. He only therefore made an update to it practice once and for all. Do it in this order . Jesus came to preach the kingdom of power not tithe ... He didn't preach anything but the kingdom and power and then gave the Holy Spirit to further that kingdom ... Tithe was already a way of life amongst the people .. Matt 23:23 Abraham kind of tithe was what the people was practicing when Jesus was here ... There was no Levite but there was tithe ... Malachi wasn't a Levite himself but he was the propeht that was calling the children to return to God in tithing so that meat may abound in God's temple What exactly do you want to read about tithe that you have not read ? You ask me to define tithe that we are already discusing ... You are not doing a religious person and a deeply religiously person at that ...i can even see you ... dark guy with plenty of hairs |

Nodogragra4me:Abraham was a rich man even before he paid one-tenth of his spoils to Melchizedek (Genesis 13:2). It was not that one-time tithe he paid that made him wealthy. There was no place ever again Abraham paid any tithe to anyone in the Scriptures. Abraham gave that one-tenth from the spoils he got from war, not from his already acquired wealth. |
Re: Do You Still Pay Your Tithes And Offerings? by somehow: 5:11pm On May 10, 2020 |
Nodogragra4me: This has been proven NOT to be tithe because it was one-off. tithe is not one-off according to Deu 14 vs 22 or is your tithe paying one-off? So repeating this line multiple times won't make it what it is not. Nodogragra4me: No one asked him to do it, he didn't wake up in the morning looking for a priest to give, it was by accident that he met the priest and if he had not won the war he went to, he would not have dashed the priest 10th of the SPOILS OF WAR. he was not threatened by anyone to do it nor reminded every Sunday that his blessing was attached to doing it! After that day, nothing was recorded of him repeating such feat. HE WAS EVEN ALREADY RICH before that encounter, so his covenant with God to be very rich was not from that act but from his obedience during his son's trial! (sacrificing Isaac) Nodogragra4me: So how come we have no chapter or even a verse showing that early Christians paid tithe, yet we have other forms of giving Jesus preached and the disciples practiced? Jesus paid tax but no record of him paying tithe, why? So if Jesus did not bother to preach about tithe but on how to make heaven, how come you and most pastors in Nigeria preach it weekly? some even threaten more tithers with hell and curses, why? Since I see you dodging questions that you know will expose you, I will ask again: Does not paying your kind of tithe stop you from making heaven? |
