Someone said the owner of the hotels would keep seeking court injuction till Wike leaves office.

I laughed at these low budgets analysts we have on this forum.
They may be right or non be Nigeria again

"Buhari should have close the border on time but he was waiting for his daughter and chief of staff"

The above is what Nigerians were saying, what they wanted. Wike is doing just that in Rivers State and the same set of people are crying that he is "WIKEd".

Nigeria, a vast gathering of hypocrites.

Including demolishing an hotel? U need to get sense

Mr obedience, I see that no body has ever pardoned you for doing wrong. Anyway, any day you do wrong may you never be forgiven and may your source of income be taken away. okpo!

See this one.. you can only be pardoned if you were ignorant of the offense you committed.
But if you’ve been hearing about a particular order and it’s consequences but the devil in you decide to flaunt it because you feel ‘Nothing go happen’.... then you have to be used as a scapegoat for others who might want to flaunt same orders.

Thank God, and happy bcus it seems you have finally realized Igbo's are not Iwhuruohna (Ikwerre) they are two distinct ethnic nationalities even before the creation of Nigeria.... Ikwerre people exist...

It was some Ogoni and Ijaws that took over some Igbos properties not Ikweres
I

U fxxkup big time. The truth is Igbo man took loans from Africa Continental Bank or so under Eastern Government and bought all properties in Port Harcourt. The Eastern government refused selling the property to the right full owners - which are Rivers Indigines. During Biafra war, the Igbos were transporting Rivers people to their red muds and bringing Igbos to our loamy soil. So it was a miscarriage of Justice that was well served by government after the Biafra war. So stop saying it was not Ikwerre and pointing at Ijaw and Ogoni.
It was Justice. Rivers State is not an Igbo State. Though we love Igbos, but they hate us.

Always State the facts

I don't know the reason for the demolition, do u know? Until we know I think we should reserve our comments. The posted did not state the reason for the demolition. If the building is illegal (e.g built on a road or pipeline) then the governor did the right thing. Yes it is painful because it costs a lot of money to build it. Ambode and Sawolu also demolished many illegal buildings in lagos.

But if the building was demolished because of flouting of lockdown orders then this is extreme and unnecessary, wicked.

don't know the reason for the demolition, do u know? Until we know I think we should reserve our comments.

But if it was buhari or el-rufai that did dis.. Will you reserve your comments?.. What is bad is bad!!!

Yinka ayefeles house was demolished not as an act of vindictivenness but because he broke planning laws. The property frustrated the expansion of a road. It wasn't personal. The Demolishion was necessary for the road expansion

I know that of Edo state was personal. Obaseki did so to frustrate and deter political opponents who were hellbent on frustrating his government. It seemed to have worked.

In Wikes case, it's against citizens and there are more civil and legal ways it can be carried out. Dealing it up and fining them would have sufficed.
