I had received my ITA and submitted my application. After approximately five months, I was asked to bring my passport to VFS shortly before the lockdown because my visa was ready.

I reckon that they sent it to Ghana seeing that there’s a Canadian embassy then however I’ve not heard anything since then and have been unable to reach them.

Is any other person in the same shoe as I am and is there anything we can do for now or only option is to wait

You are not alone. Their website states that all their offices are currently closed due to this pandemic. I reckon they will release passports as soon as they resume operations. One last lap to get there, hang in there...

Scary is an understatement. Now that WES has condemned alot of people to them, their services would only get worse - going by the number of requests they'd get. I hope they start receiving directly from schools again soon else, a lot of people would experience serious delays in their evaluation process.

Good afternoon folks, please did anyone here evaluate both their bsc and masters degree? I did that cos I may be needing the first degree for certification in the engineering field over there. My question is that do I need to fill both degrees in education or fill in the masters and throw the first degree in personal history. I already filled my profile with both but I am thinking of removing first degree now till post ITA...just want to keep my profile as simple as possible

I just received a reply from WES that my transcript was not accepted. Reason- I should send it through Etx-ng. Has anybody experienced this. Unilag sent it to them directly. I don’t know why it was rejected. Is it that WES now takesonly electronically sent transcript? Please I need your reply

Yes I stated it here sometime back that "they are now accepting electronically and by mail(which has to be initiated by the school) is only for specific schools, check their website well.. The only electronic mail they are accepting is from ext-ng .

Hi, my husband had the same issue. However, when I logged on to the Wes page what I saw was document being reviewed. I sent a mail to them immediately using their contact form explaining the inefficiencies and bad reviews of etx NG and why using them should not be a compulsion. Two days later, precisely yesterday, we got a notification saying they were awaiting verification from his school (which is the norm). When we logged on to the portal we still saw the awaiting verification on the page.
I don't know if the change is because we sent a mail or perhaps they had a glitch. The positive is that there was a +ve change so log on to your wes page and see what awaits you.

Hello great peeps! My friend is in post ITA level trying to complete his application. There is a part where family information has to be completed. His brother is currently in the US but yet to get his greencard. Can he state that he lives in Naija since the family must be a legal resident of the country of residence.

they don't need details of his status. Just state country of residence as usa. Thats all

We are many. Has your application been approved? Mine isn’t approved yet but I have my ppr mail. I heard vfs opens next with but appointments will need to be booked. I think the first stage is to have our application approved then expect passports
