He put his laws in action for the good of you and I, hotels are the fastest means of spread for the virus.

Why then are the big hotels shut, while this small one is trying to be greedy and smart.

Which big hotels in PH are shut? Go to GRA and see for yourself.

State borders are closed, so everyone that was in PH on business when this issue started is stuck here. These people need somewhere to stay.

How do hotels spread the virus? Were you dropped on your head as a child?

That someone investment in a state should be demolished if alleged to operate without any investigation The judge also should be arrested then that is a complete abuse of the power and office you hold.

the warning was given before the lockdown the penalties were stated. so the guy has no case against the governor.

It is only in Africa these unlawful actions can take place. Nigeria constitution or the state constitution has not hitherto made provisions for this reality and the governor is going extreme on violates. Where is he drawing his powers from? Well, Nig is the best country to get away with any crime, says a convicted felon to continue as a lawmaker. What do I even know?

Nigerian states don't have constitutions.

I think you just got back from the US where each state has its own constitution, right?

You've been saying nonsense since morning..

There was no social distancing when he was demolishing the hotel, no face mask What will you say about it?

I have not been saying nonsense, Nigerians are natural rule breakers called smartness..

If you decide to contact it personally not adhering to simple rules - fine, but if you endanger the lives of people just because you wan to get greedy.. that is unacceptable.

Well I dont see anything wrong... he clearly made his warning specifically on hotels, you are based in Lagos but opened your hotel to run in PH because you have lab rats to test on..

In event people die from escalated corona virus due to his selfishness, would you be saying this rubbish?...

he is suffering because of disobedience, selfishness and lack of empathy..
So if a policeman shoot you because of violating lockdown order,he is right by killing you.

Then you will blame Buhari for disobeying court order, please is this a court order? To demolish a building?

Auctioning of vehicles and demolishing of buildings..

This is a simple rule to protect everyone, why go against it if it's not greed and selfishness against your fellow humans.

... Please you would have to help us find that so called Consequence.... Sheet

Then you would also state where Wike became a Judge...

And which court gave an order to such....

What the tyrant governor just did will discourage investment in his state.
Now the man may never build anything in Rivers state again, he will decide to invest everything he has in Lagos, so las las who loose?

And the Ipob people will be supporting him on Twitter. The reason Lagos is developing at a very fast pace is the ease of investment, a sane government should at worst take over the management of the hotel till certain obligations are met, at this rate of destruction and auctions of properties if this covid-19 linger for 1 year or more, there will be no more hotels or cars remaining in Rivers state before the vaccine is discovered

You’re EXTREMELY STXPID.

Lagos is economically viable because it has a seaport and already long established headquarters to almost every parastatal in this country from the colonial times and this is the reason for its massive population that drives economic viability.

If nigeria had any sense portharcourt will have a massive seaport and so will every other coastal line state no, stupid leaders for 60 years is the reason an ignoramus like you will say Lagos is thriving because of “ease of investment” you are roundly stxpid

Funny you used the word 'Destroy '

All of you are fucking hypocrites.

I hope you can now understand the thinking of those that support Buhari no mater what.

What Wike did was stupid and reckless. And should not be accepted in any sane Clime. But people like you are defending him and saying the victim should have followed instructions. Same thing Buhari supporters do everything time that pisses you guys off that made you tag his supporters as zombies.

The hotel can be closed for one year with heavy fines. That enough is a huge punishment. But destroying of property. That's stretching it.

Why is it that Wike didn't arrest the people watching the demolition of the hotel?

1. There was no social distancing
2. They weren't wearing mask

For asking such a question, you are truly ignorant..

The bed sharing, towel sharing, sits, couches, cutlery sharing, lack of social distancing, central ac etc... how did a whole cruise vessel contact the virus?..

I do not know how anyone will justify demolision of buildings because of mere violation of lockdown order. It's high handedness and perhaps a move to settle political scores.

Seal off the building, arrest and prosecute the offenders like Lagos is doing. Isn't that sane enough?
How can a man arrogate the power of the prosecutor, the judge and the executioner to himself?

you call it mere violation of the lock down when it has to do with saving lives

Wike does not do wrong. Although people are accusing him of targeting Igbo traders in PH through the lockdown but we the Igbos still love him. Ikeokwu has been on lockdown for weeks now, but it doesn't matter because he loves us and only him knows what is good for us. He is indeed God sent. Ndi ara!!!

The rules and consequences were well laid out... if spread had emanated from this, we wont be saying all this..

What rules??! Laid out by the governor on whose authority and backing??! Who is supposed to enforce the law, executive, judiciary or legislative??!

There are so many rules with regards to pandemic control across the nation, have you heard of the governors personally doing the job of prosecuting, convicting, and punishing offenders??!... Is this a dictatorship??!... Or you don't know the function of the judiciary??!.. You think there are no limits to the powers of the executive??!... Do you think Buhari can just wake up one morning and charge, imprison every law offender without recourse to the judiciary??!...

Bro, humble yourself and go get a proper education... Don't docilely condone tyranny!!! This is a democracy!!!

Like i suggested earlier in the tread, the hotel was inoperational and Wike being stupid couldn’t investigate and unleashed terror on his people. Please watch the below video @BBC investigation of the circumstance.

If it was a warning then he should be sued and the judge that stamp that like they say should be arrested that is abuse of power....if it was an executive order then the property owner should be charged to court and the build sealed..... either which way this is abuse of power ask those that read law.

Open up other seaports and see what will happen.
How many Covid-19 fatalities has Lagos registered?

He passed his own thoughts about the whole thing. You should have done that also without the abuses. It's a shame you can't engage in meaningful and civil dialogue without madness.

In this time and age, someone is talking of investments and you're talking of Sea Ports. Investment transcends among different areas from Technology to movies to real estate. And Lagos is the top choice for every form of investment.

I never have problem with Buhari personally like some, and when he disobeyed laws, the NBA, NASS and media told him as it is...

There is no hypocrisy here, he only needed to adhere to rules that protects everyone.
