amdman: UPDATE
The most challenging part for us when it comes to delivering on our promise to you is the clearing of our containers when they arrive Nigeria, due to the obfuscated processes for container clearing at the Nigerian ports. We currently have delays concluding the clearing of several containers shipped via container shipping, and we have been working hard to find suitable alternatives. We can now announce that we have concluded arrangements to transit to RORO shipping for our transactions going forward.
WHAT WILL CHANGE 1. Your car will be shipped via RORO (without the use of containers) 2. We will handle buying and shipping, while your nominated agent will handle the clearing 3. We will pre-qualify agents and indicate how much they will charge for the clearing of your car (you can use your own agent even if not on the list). You will still be able to tell how much you will pay in total. Agents will have terms of engagement and will be sanctioned for any breach of same.
WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU 1. You will be able to choose and appoint any clearing agent of your choice to handle the clearing of your car 2. You will be able to get your car out of the ports faster and cheaper 3. You will have access to a wider selection of cars, including accidented and other salvage titled vehicles. 4. We will continue to offer you the best prices for the best cars.
Interested clearing agents should reach us on +14372215476 for pre-qualification.
Thank you for your continued patronage.
Confam please what’s the update on my 2010 Camry Sport i4 search na? |

amdman I am yet to see anything good about this update/'development'. If you have decided to ship via RORO because of the delay with containerized, then go ahead. That should be the only change, while you stick to your team of agents (as stated in page 152). Subjecting customers to the menace of these (yet to be known) agents isn't too good; except a customer insists on engaging the service of his/her own agent. The devil we know is better than the angel unknown. As for accidented or salvaged title cars...that's the choice of any customer, which is not too bad an idea. Summarily , Continue with what and how you have been doing. Continue with your team of agents ( except you have seen reason(s) to disengage their services). Only shipping method should change from Containerized to RORO. My opinion though. Thank you. 41 Likes 1 Share |

You are beginning to join bad gang, becoming like the other car dealers . Don't be offended Sir but some accidented vehicles us better than those you see as clean title. Some accidents are minor and you will not affect overall performance of the vehicle. Most times, accident vehicles comes with low mileage less than 100k while those you see as clean title comes with high mileage like 300k Above all, accident vehicles seems cheaper than clean title and when you replace damaged part on accident vehicles you will save some thousands and get sound cars that's even better than those you see as accident vehicles Note: I'm not talking about badly accident vehicles but those with minor dent As regard shipment, I still prefer Roro to containerized anytime any day. If you ain't gonna load other goods in the vehicle, Roro is better than container(my opinion) because most time vehicles used to had scratch with container whereas with Roro you can get your vehicle exactly the way it comes from port of loading 14 Likes |

That's what brought many of us here. The simplicity of paying and not having to worry about any process till you get a call that your car can be picked up on Nigerian soil . Now the goal post has been shifted to pay and after that you are on your own! (Select your own agent) Well as long as there is a significant price difference between Canada and USA I will still patronise . 4 Likes |

Continue with your team of agents ( except you have seen reason(s) to disengage their services).
Only shipping method should change from Containerized to RORO.
My opinion though.
Thank you. Intelligently put. Amdman, in all honesty, hearken to this. Most especially the bolded.. Some bad car dealers are already grinning at ur recent post. Do not give them reason to. 4 Likes |

Reason why he's going for RORO method now. But most of you didn't understand the Agent part so i will break it down for you.2. This simply means Amdman will produce list of agent to work with for your car clearing or you can as well bring your own agents but he will be the one to pre-qualify them and tell them how much they will charge and no one will still be able to Rip you off. 10 Likes |

Supported sir, 100%. Only clean title cars. While a customer can personally contact amdman for whatever they want. yehmy: Number 3 on "what it means for you" Don't you think you should deliver the type of cars you have been delivering unless someone come to you personally to request for such. To me it should not be included on this thread. Thanks |

yehmy: Not sure if i should be doing this but i think i should clear some parts according to rumor flying around so you all trying to attack Amdman can relax about the agent decision he made.
No one is trying to attack him as you said. Read through carefully, you'ld see that we mean well for him and his business. yehmy:
From what i gathered on the delay that currently happened i was told that the agent incharge of the clearance was actually not doing what was supposed to be done at the right time and he was not straight forward with Amdman also i think till yesterday which would have affected Amdman reputation on here. Reason why he's going for RORO method now. But most of you didn't understand the Agent part so i will break it down for you.
