lasisig5: I regret to hear that your study permit application was delayed based on the aforementioned grounds. Please see comments below concerning some of the flaws in your last application: Who is your sponsor? Is your sponsor closely related to you. Why are you been sponsored by someone when you laid a claim to have a well to do business in Nigeria which your wife will be monitoring and maintaining its smooth running while you're away for studies. How old are you that you're still relying on someone for financial support for your studies abroad. Did you extensively and rationally explain how your family (spouse and kids) will be coping in case of any financial constraint that needs to be sorted out while you're away? -----》 This is why the visa officer has concerns about your family ties back home. The visa officer raised limited employment prospects because you've not sufficiently convince them about your prospect with the Local Government commissions. How much do you earn from this organisation?, is the pay impressive that would compel your return home after studies? -----》 This is why the visa officer has concerns about your employment prospects back home. You affirmed that you've a running business in Nigeria, did you include pictures of this business or transaction receipts to give an insight about the business. Any proof of business transactions in your bank statement from customers? Or company account? I think you need to shed more light on the questions i have raised about your profile. It will end in praise. 3 Likes 1 Share |

librangyps: You should never compare timelines and profiles when it comes to immigration process. An immigration application is a complex one, with many variables. No two applicants cases are the same, even if they may have the same date of birth, similar profiles, and may come from same country (Nigeria) or been processed at same immigration office (kenya VO). Since you have filed your application, you must be aware that there are many questions to be asked on the application, which then has to be supported by documents. This is what makes each application unique, and so does the processing of such applications. With so many variables, when you compare your application profile with another applicant, you are comparing apples to oranges. Please remember, immigration is law, and, no two cases are ever the same. The uniqueness of each application does not stop here, the processing and evaluation of each application are done by humans (the visa officer's), who have their own unique personality and way of analysing. Even though each immigration officer is obligated to follow the law as stipulated in the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the Regulations, and the manuals, by their speed, way they analyse, and their drive, are factors, which again add more variables to every applications. Don't allow the high visa refusals discourage you. Hang on there, Your testimony is right around the corner. I hope this little piece stands to motivate you. It will end in praise 3 Likes |

Kaycevit: cleanclean: Kaycevit and cleanclean, I regret to hear your visas were delayed. @Kaycevit, Its weird to see that the VO rejected your application on the basis of financial insufficiency after you had paid in full your tuition fees. As per the bolded, one of the few guys I know that took the judicial review route on this thread after a visa refusal is kpizzle. You may have a look at his success story below. His application was rejected with flimsy reasons just like yours. He summoned the courage by refusing to follow the norm and immediately called for a legal advice and support, which the case was taken to the Federal Court of Canada. After so much deliberations on his case, the Chief Justice then demanded that a second visa officer should review his file and make a decision. His application was returned from refused to submitted before it was approved. VISA OFFICER'S DECISION WAS OVERTURNED AFTER VISA REFUSAL ON THIS THREAD IN 2019. KIPIZZLE'S POST ON THIS THREAD FOR APPLICANT'S CONSIDERING JUDICIAL REVIEW AFTER VISA REFUSAL. Be mindful that this is a very tedious and time consuming process, you may also consider reapplying yourself due the associated cost. It will end in praise 4 Likes 1 Share |

Faith243: As regards your enquiry, please use MUN which has funding package for your next application and neglect the U of Regina admission. Changing of institutions or programs after visa rejection doesn't have any negative impact on your recent application. It even aids considerably to show that your current situation has changed, given that you're now reapplying with funding from MUN. Thus you can go ahead with MUN, there is no problem whatsoever. Zika123: Don't panic boss. Following your profile and work experiences over the last 5 years, there is a logical progression in your intended program (hospitality and tourism management). However, be sure that the program is a post graduate diploma program and not an ordinary diploma. So many applicants make the mistakes of applying to the wrong level of education and before they could find out its already too late. Therefore avoid such costly mistakes too when applying for admissions. It will end in praise |

You wrote, "If you earn 2m per month in Canada, you would spend the money on tax....", that's a lie. Stop discouraging people dude! You don't spend all your money on tax in Canada! When you pay tax in Canada, you have a lot to enjoy. For example, good roads, free health care, child benefits etc. You can't compare Canada to Nigeria. Do you know about tax return in Canada? Simply put, you can't overpay your tax and you can't underpay! Don't criticize based on your current emotions and situations! Friends and colleagues, remember why you started this journey!? Don't let his opinion discourage you from going forward. Stick to the plan please! Learn from your mistakes and move forward. We are all in this together! We won't stop, until we all win! Your tomorrow must be greater and better than today and yesterday! Only lazy and coward people justify the reasons for their failure and negligence. Be wise! SonofGod2000: 5 Likes |

Chalva: Chalva: True and way better especially in this period of time. A high profile lawyer with several success stories will be of paramount help here. Meanwhile beware of scammers and make sure you read thoroughly the reviews of any immigration lawyer you come across on the internet. This thread prohibits sharing or advertising of third party websites. Therefore, I will not be able to share any immigration law firm on this platform as it contravenes the number 6 rules and regulations of this thread. Rollyxxmv: Why will you use a bank statement you printed in January for a march application? i.e two months before filing for your application. This act simply shows that you're the architect to your visa refusal. Be well informed that a bank statement is only valid for a month. Anything beyond this time frame, you're ought to provide an updated statement before putting in your application. As I have told you earlier, your chances of approval will increase if you do the right thing by applying for a bachelor's degree instead of an ordinary diploma in a college since you've not attained any post secondary education in the last 8 years after your high school studies. Let's wait for the arrival of your GCMS notes and hope it's not generic as usual. Keep the house posted when you receive this file from ATIP. It will end in praise 2 Likes |

Frankrobbn1: @Frankrobbn1, thank you for your useful insights. I have a few concerns that I would like you and other gurus to please clarify. 1. I work at a reputable and internationally recognized institution but our salaries are paid into a virtual account and I basically transfer to everyone and zerorize the account on payday until the next pay day. Is this the SOA I will be required to submit or can I submit my normal account which is almost in the same state. Lol Abi my payslips will suffice? 2. I have a mutual funds savings that has more than enough to cover my tuition and living expenses, should I liquidate it into my account or just use the mutual funds statement? (Funds are available between 1-3 working days and it is usually stated on the statement.) 3. I am self sponsored and I intend that my husband transfers my tuition and living expenses to my account ASAP and probably pay half of my tuition. Do I need to explain huge inflows into my husband’s account? Say like 10m coming in 3m trenches? Account already has a balance of about that amount. (If I use him as co-sponsor) 4. I am expecting and will be due late oct/Nov. Is it wise to co-apply with my husband or apply alone? I want him to be present for the birth of our child. It’s our first child in 6years. During my application, do I need to state this? 5. My school (St. Mary’s University) is giving me the option of applying for my visa through CUAC Ghana office. What do you think about this? 6. I know that this is a lot. I apologize for the epistle. Thanks everyone. 2 Likes |
