Gentlemen he was killed by a Mobile police (MOPOL) personnel who is part of the Operation Save Haven (OPSH/Joint operation) and not by a soldier. Although the operation is headed by the army. May his soul RIP. The MOPOL who killed him should be punished accordingly.

Of what use is their unapologetic and ill composed Press Release by the NA? Since when do they keep armed robbery suspects in their custody that they mistook the young boy as an escaped criminal? Did the man guarding the detention room raise any alarm or was there a camp wide alarm?

A beautiful life cut short once again and we will just regard it as statistics.
Re: Photos Of Rinji Bala Peter, UNIJOS Student Killed By Army by Tapout(m): 8:44am On May 14, 2020
they were leaving the premises, where they running?? I guess not. Where they armed?? Ofcos they weren't since they were leaving. So why open fire ?? No regards
for human life. Also was any one injured?? Cos u can't tell me he opened fire on 5 individuals and just one was killed with the remaining 4 not sustaining any injury or was the deceased targeted?? sad undecided their statement doesn't add up at all.

Brotherly, where did the report said he was killed by a soldier? This is why some of you have to read before commenting. From the above report is was stated that he was killed by a MOPOL personnel who is part of the OPSH/Joint operation. The mobile police officer should be punished accordingly.

Welcome to Nigeria, a country where politicians eat and drink in corruption. Welcome to Nigeria, a place of disorderliness where people don’t obey laws and where the citizens are stubborn. Welcome to Nigeria, where people act like goats. Welcome to Nigeria, a place of darkness and total darkness. I say, welcome to Nigeria, a place where the national budget can be misplaced, or stolen, at any time. Welcome to Nigeria, where you can’t even trust the ATM. Welcome to Nigeria, a place where the military that were said to protect the life and properties of the citizens are the ones killing them like Goat and Ram. Welcome to Nigeria, a place where nothing works!

Re: Photos Of Rinji Bala Peter, UNIJOS Student Killed By Army by Nobody: 8:58am On May 14, 2020
This excuse is so dumb and outrageous. A guard opened fire on the boy (who was released) because he thought he was escaping? What happened to holding him to verify? Why are they so trigger happy?

If these people can't communicate an order from the office to an officer on sentry duty at the gate, how the hell can they communicate properly with regards to coordinating complex operations?

What's worse is this issue will probably die and no one will be brought to justice. Such a sad sad state of affairs this 'nation' Nigeria

Silly mistake by personnel cutting short of precious lives in this country. How can a personnel at the entry point not be informed b4 hand that the suspect leaving the premises has been freed. Na so trigger go dey sweet them to pull at any given chance. RIP Young Lad.
