Mancala:I see so in essence working those jobs are just basically a means to an end with the end result of getting more qualification/better job. thank you for your insight |

pDudd: I've deleted my posts, since you consider them a derailment to your thread. Like I mentioned, I agree with every other thing you said except the student loan part, and I commented because I thought someone else might benefit from a different perspective, but I think you simply want us to agree with everything you post. So, please kindly delete the areas where you mentioned me so that my posts can disappear completely and I'll delete this one too. 18 Likes |

Nice talk from ALL contributors. I keep learning more about how a Nigerian can keep surviving in the US explained by Nigerians. I'm planning on living there and get a job from a tech industry by God's grace. |

I'm a dentist hopefully I'll be immigrating to the u.s before the end of this year as a P.R. getting licensed to practice dentistry is quite expensive going back to school for 2years and spending hundreds of thousands of dollars in school fees. This is where getting a student loan is tricky op. what do you advice? |

tardell007:You are EMIGRATING or Traveling as a STUDENT...? Because they are two different things oooo How.. ? Have you secured a University and Paid your Fees..? Your Case is not tying up... ? I really need to understand.. Educate me more.. I'm in the US. People come in via Several Routes but most of them come in as Visitors and Students. Some come in via Employment Based Visas like the Nurses... Who start up as RN after passing their Exams.... 1 Like |

You made real sense in your detailed writeup on student scholarship and someone like me have started reasonable research into that. I am someone who have been a great opportunist of scholarship and I really understand your perspective. Please you can open a new thread on that... definitely it gonna be a great resource for some people. NEVER STOP SPEAKING FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN BECAUSE EVERYONE HAVE THERE OWN INSIGHTS! neurosci: 4 Likes |

tardell007:NOW you sound clearer. Because only Immigrants emigrate. Anyway that's a GOOD ONE. Going Back to School Shouldn't be your problems. 2 Years of studying again means nothing here naaa. U can make it. When your GREEN CARD arrives which usually takes 2 weeks after arriving the US... U can take up a Loan and enrol into a State University and study... That's the Power of the GREEN CARD. There are other jobs you can start up with and make cool cash at the moment... ? When are you coming...? and what state.. ? Have you been called up for an interview..? |

klawaaa: Honestly I really felt sorry for him seeing how he succumbed. Seems it's an issue of self confidence. Albeit never been to the US, but most of what he opined were in line with reasonable logic, even to a novice. @neurosci, always stand your ground on issues, especially when it has to do with issues you may have strong convictions about 4 Likes |

BelieverDE: That dude said it was very easy to get scholarships and that scholarships were abundant everywhere. I called him a clown because that isn't true. Yes, there are plenty of scholarships but most of these scholarships have several/numerous strings attached to them. Several of those attached strings are usually not attainable by the average Joe on the streets. When I was in school, I applied for several scholarships but I only got 1 and that was because I was top in my class. He didn't tell the full story on how he got those scholarships. He makes it sound so easy. Well, if it was so easy, I won't have any student loans to repay back. Daz all 5 Likes |

Please, let this thread not hit front page. The other one was defaced immediately it appeared there. This one should stay under the radar like that akata women one, where people can read OP's information in strings and not see any idiot children posting nonsense for attention. 2 Likes |
