Those affected are well to do people who can fight the legal regime and win but they are usually unconcern because they dont feel like it is a discrimination against them.

The law exist just to make sure that foreign nationals do not earn up holding political office.

who has called Lebanese and arabs white?Various research has said white Europeans "excluding black Europeans, Lebanese, white Americans,black Americans, Koreans,Chinese, other Africans population makes up more than 3% of Ghana's population and i being a Ghanaian with much research in that field can confidently tell you that in fact white Europeans exceed 2 million people in Ghana. Thus the government even spending more than a billion dollars to capture and register these huge number of non Ghanaians (white Europeans included)formally and seperating them from the about 20 million Ghanaian citizens.

Europeans began settling in Ghana even before they discovered Southern Africa and the only thing that was hampering them from mass migrating was harsh weather conditions and rebellious nature of some Kingdoms and later Kwame Nkrumah who drove large amount of Europeans out of the country after independence buh a handful of them still remained and a lot of them has reemerged and number more than a million buh they're still not considered Ghanaians due to our constitution.

So basically if significant group of Maasai joined Bantu core of Kikuyus - it very likely the Maasai started to derisively refer them to parakuyo (corrupted maybe to Kikuyu)- or somebody who has abandoned the 'noble' lifestyle of cattle rearing and gone farming which the Maasai disdained. And when people would ask who those people were...Maasai would say parakuyo.

Ghana statistical service who organise the National census does it for developmental and educational purposes so you claiming not to be a Ghanaian ends all questions projected for only Ghanaians. So you answering non Ghanaian,the statistician will not need to ask you which race you're, etc.

The number of white Europeans are derived from continuous registration of permanent residency permits issued within an accumulated period of time where detailed information of nationality are gathered and the current ongoing national Identification exercise that gives Ghana card to Ghanaians and non Ghana card to non Ghanaians.

These are the source if informations that determines the number of white Europeans which is still underreported due to the National Identification exercise being suspended due to this pandemic.
