Lol naija ooooo Nigeria’s Foreign Reserves Rise by $1.22bn in Eleven Days The nation’s foreign reserves rose by $1.22 billion in eleven days, according to the report released by the Central Bank of Nigeria. Despite weak revenue generation and low oil prices due to the global pandemic, the foreign reserves rose to $34.65 billion from $33.42 billion posted in April. The Nigerian foreign reserves stood at $38 billion in January before plunging with low oil prices to $34.65 billion and subsequently forcing the Central Bank of Nigeria to technically devalued the Nigerian Naira to protect the nation’s foreign reserves. 3 Likes |

Problemkid1: The Nigerian LNG Limited has awarded the engineering, procurement and construction contracts for its Train 7 project to the SCD JV Consortium, comprising Saipem of Italy, Japan’s Chiyoda and Daewoo of South Korea. The NLNG announced the signing of the contracts at a webinar on Wednesday evening. The company had in September 2019 said that it had issued a Letter of Intent for the EPC contracts to SCD JV Consortium. The Train 7 project aims to increase the company’s production capacity from 22 metric tonnes per annum to about 30 MTPA, and will form part of the investment of over $10bn, including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, according to the company. The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva, said, “With the award of the EPC contracts, the construction phase of Train 7 can now commence in earnest. “The award of an EPC contract in the industry is welcome news anywhere in the world. Although it might mean more competition for industry operators, it ultimately promises greater availability of cleaner energy necessary for the sustainability of the environment.” The Managing Director, NLNG, said, “Today marks yet another milestone in Nigeria LNG’s journey in being a global LNG company helping to build a better Nigeria.” “On December 27, 2019, our shareholders took the Final Investment Decision for the Train 7 Project, in a bid to expand our operations and increase our production and export capacity by 35 per cent from 22 to 30 million tonnes per annum. “In September last year, the NLNG issued a Letter of Intent to the preferred bidder, SCD JV Consortium, who emerged through a very robust competitive process. That was a strong indication of our readiness for the project execution.” The NLNG is jointly owned by the Federal Government, represented by the NNPC (49 per cent), and three international oil companies, namely Shell (25.6 per cent), Total (15 per cent) and Eni (10.4 per cent). TayserMahri:You are mad. Tanzania didn't abandon everything. We still do our traditions in a more modified way. Some stupid African cultures have been killed, because not everything African was cool.We took the good,we trashed the bad. We don't worship a tree anymore,we don't hate other tribes,we hate witchcraft,we hate child marriages which was practiced by most Africans. Many funny stuff are abolished. Yes some Tanzanians lost those tribal languages, I being one of them. But did I lost it? I don't think so,I never spoke it,so how can I loose a language which I never had or know how to speak? |

kevomtaani:well Ghana has a larger per capita income and better human development index than all the countries except South Africa and tiny Namibia which is not even a competition. Listen to this point,if you are a white European who owns lands in acres, citizenship, right to even compete for political office, commited genocide and apartheid government in Namibia or say South Africa whilst in Ghana, as a white European who's lived all your life in Ghana buh the country has neveracknowledged as a Ghanaian, can't own land, can't even open a mini business, tell me,where will you feel more comfortable to be loud or seen more or open. Ghana has not been kind to these Europeans since independence who trace their long routes to Ghana long ago thus they're silenced and rarely come out in public. They make their money, live lavish lives buh hardly come out publicly. They easily mix up with expatriates because really there's no difference between them and an expatriate. Tanzania has their richest person being an arab Tanzanian and Kenya has indians holding citizenship buh in Ghana, you will never see any foreigner especially white European holding a citizenship buh it doesn't make them non-existence. Go to Osu Oxford street and you might think you're in Europe due to the large number of Europeans, go to the malls, etc.Am not talking about 2013 Ghana buh 2020 Ghana. If you have been in Ghana before, I represent Ghana and I know Ghana inside out. I can't challenge your population demography in your country so take the informations i have given you from various sources to buttress my point and move on.White people are not gods so this arguments is not even necessary. 1 Like |

Just30:You didn't answer my questions about Ghana having more opportunities than TZ. That's a lie. Tanzania is more resource rich than Ghana Tanzania has more tourist attractions and opportunities than GH Agriculture wise,is the same thing. In transportation, TZ has more opportunities In manufacturing, its the same thing In fisheries, its also the same. Almost everything, TZ has more opportunities except may be oil sector. 2 Likes |
