And when the chance came for him to take bull by the horn and chase away the hausas using their land as launch pad for attack against Biafrans.

He simply joined them in raping and killing and maiming of Biafran children.

Rather than rally his people to chase Gowon and his Northern Cohorts out of Lagos and Yoruba land then declare the Western Region Oduduwa Republic, Awolowo ran to be 2ic to Gowon who was young enough to be his son. While Ojukwu was fighting to liberate his people from Northern domination, Awolowo gladly led his people into slavery to the North. The Western Region was balkanised, their resources stolen and the fiscal federation that gave Awolowo money to build cocoa house and give free education was removed in front of him.

While others were fighting for their freedom, Awolowo was hiding under Gowon's skirt.

His legacy scattered all over SW and beyond.

We can't say the same thing about a coward who run with his tail leaving his people to be roasted like Suya.

Wetin Biafra army dey do for Ore?.
Una no dey face East, always facing the West, Even Zik could not resist the lure of the West which eventually made him a slave to the north.
Next time Igbos should face the East, if una make the same mistake again, una go cry again.

Don't mind them, no single Igbo dead or Alive have managed to surpass Awo's achievements.
I guess their forefathers were also marginalized from leaving their marks, on the sands of time.

You dey mind the hypocrites.. They are mocking Yoruba of losing Kwara while they have forgotten they lost the whole SS.

Nobody is disputing the fact that there are minority Igbo living in SS, they are mere a resident...

SS lands have been lost but not the people. When the Igbk minority in SS are ready to join their brothers, they will move to SE states..

As for the SS lands, gone like Kwara state.... grin grin
