@Rebekah, I respect you a lot! It is not enough to say someone is wrong without pointing out how (s)he is wrong. You could have at least presented a counter-narrative.

My 2p comment anyway

well appreciated. He has responded.

Bro don't mind them.Is the new comers that they are using to make 10 percent I dey pity..The health sector is the place now.And I ask what has changed in the health sector? Are they producing the drugs for the virus now or managing the isolation center?Has the government or foreign donors transferred the covid fund to them?Which of them is really into research for the vaccin?.Next week you will only hear I just pocketed 10 percent fom health companies.Abeg oga OGG try come back.

I don't even bother with them olukus here. I know those to read their post and also take advise from. apart from few ogas here, that Sir OGG has been a blessing to me. yes there has also been 2 or 3 times when his stock recommendations didn't manage to come off right but i can say that they do plenty of times. apart from the stocks i listed that i bought, he was the one that also encouraged me to invest in other assets for the 1st time late last yr. i also bought my 1st bitcoin in binance ealier this yr at around 6,810 dollars after his guidance. he also mentioned it in the article there. it was no 2 of the 5 points he recommended in that article. bitcoins is almost 10,000 dollars now. point no 4 in that his article is also the reason why my wife has made some great gains from her provision and consumer goods biz.
He advised us to stock pile on her provisions including bags of rice, groundnut and palm oil, flour and other household goods in late feb/early march. she later managed to buy 41 bags of rice and other items which she is selling at almost double the purchase price now. she even sold some of the goods a bit early otherwise she for dey make more money by now.
there's only 1 stock presently in loss in my a/c that he recommended then, which is transcorp i bought for 90k & some 92k, but i have derived far much more from that oga. far much more that i can never complain. to be honest, i owe him a lot of gratitude!!!! for me, those who criticize him here are either olufas, olukus or a combination of both. what is annoying is that they will criticize without basis, they will not offer a justifiable counter opinion or even point u to any fact to buttress the opposite. if someone tells us with genuine reasons that stock A is good and another person say it is bad or not good, there is no problem with that. but at least they should tell us why it is not good or point us to fact that says so, so we can all make informed decisions. but no they will not. that's why i call them evil.
I have always enjoyed reading post from the side line for many years here but since i officially registered/joined this forum early 2019, I don observe a lot of things and i know what i am saying.
apart from a few, most people here are evil!!!!

Bro, please do you play on the LSE or nah? With Bojo sorting things out (or maybe not), I'm considering my backyard. I registered as a Fool last year but I haven't taken any of their recommendations serious.

The discussions I had with Oga OGG must have been to balance views. Please note that no one here is paid to share information. I just took a second look at Neimeth Q4 unaudited and I cannot yet see value in the stock. That a stock is able to return 100% within a short time does not make it a must for everyone to enter. Some stocks are very illiquid.

Get it right on NSE, then it beats any LSE play pants down!

The best DY on LSE is 14.69% (Evraz). However, it doesn't have a long history of dividends. On the contrary, we de do inyanga for 20% yields on NSE. The key is to avoid gambling.

COVID-19 affects all, I hope you heard the news yesterday that the UK economy shrank by a record 5.8% in March.

Because, I also use United Capital and I trade myself on https://investnow.ng, trade execution take less than 2min (except on full bid or full offer).

I trade by myself. I would click on the stock I want to purchase and click on "buy" and use market price but it always shows cancelled the following day.

The one purchase that went through was Zenith. When I clicked on buy the price was 15.10 and the system bought it at 15.35. I dont even understand how that happened.

To all the the ancestors and experts in the house. Is it advisable to go for ex-div stocks at this time?

I am holding Africa Prudential and Zenith and I'd like to increase my holdings seeing that they are liquid and give good divs.

Any other recommendations will be welcomed.

P.S: final decisions and outcome are my responsibilities.

Your order will cancel if you don't specify "time in force" either :-

Day order( trade will cancel if not fulfilled after close of trade ).

Good Till date (trade can run for 3 to 7days).

Whenever you are buying or selling a stock always note that other traders are buying and selling.

So the price will always change, depending of the bids and offers.

The final price will include charges.

Afriprud is a stock that derive their income through digital services. The banks as well. All the financial stocks are rated neutral now due to the economic situation of the country.I will advice you wait and take advantage of the bashing of stocks(prices) which will come by June/July.

For now,80% of people who are active in the market are traders who survive by using technicals to trade.

I understand you are a dividend investor. You need to take advantage of low prices.wait a little, your time will come up again.
