There is nothing like development in your country. from education to anything called basics of life . Ghana being smaller than Kenya with the biggest economy in east Africa has a bigger pharmaceutical industry than Kenya talkless of Tanzania . Ghana has more universities per capital than your country, it consume more cement per capital than your country, it has more commercial valued resources than your country, just name it

Ghana cocoa industry alone is bigger than your total export including tourism .

The $300m BUA Sugar Factory In Kwara Is Nearing Completion

Nigeria spends N300bn importing sugar.

According to reports, this plant will process 14,000 tonnes of canes daily to produce 200,000 tonnes of refined sugar, 35mw of electricity.

Mr AbdulSamad Rabiu, is building a multi-million Dollar sugar refinery and plantation in Lafiagi, Edu local government area of Kwara State.

The project, according to Mr Rabiu, is expected to be completed in 2020 and should generate not less than 10,000 jobs and produce about 14,000 tonnes of canes per day.

Speaking during the tour of the project site on Monday, the businessman said the sugar plantation in Lafiagi and the refinery is one of the most advanced anywhere in the world.

“When completed, it will generate over 10,000 direct employments and produce over 200,000 tonnes of refined sugar together with 200,000 litres of ethanol and 35 megawatts of power – using the bye product of sugarcane,” he said.

Ghana cocoa industry alone is bigger than your total export including tourism .

if Ghana and Tanzania are commodity, Ghana will be well valued in dollar terms than TZ

with all fairness you have cherry picked industries specifically pharmaceutical and cocoa I can do the same with horticulture in Kenya or dairy farming in Kenya
or even cashew nut farming in tz and say Ghana cannot match us
I said Tanzania is more developed and I still maintain it that way. It has better infrastructure, it has better tourism a better aviation industry,.more opportunities in manufacturing, the agricultural industry in Tanzania is better managed and it has entered into trade agreements with east and southern African countries which puts it in a very good position. plus a bigger population which means ready market for goods. this are what has led me to say that

However that doesn't mean Ghana is bad. No. Ghana has better health care, for the last few years I've seen Ghana invest in new projects Ghana has less poverty, Ghana has better social welfare programs.

But if I'm investor X and I have 10 million usd and my options are to invest in Ghana orTanzania I would choose Tanzania

I keep saying it you have a problem with word. throwing the word development all around without knowing the meaning is an act of ignorance.

This is development...

1. Access to electricity.
2. Quality of life for people in rural areas.
3. Favorable weather conditions.
4.overall HDI
5. Safety and security.
6. GDP per capita (nominal and PPP).
7. Internet access.
8. University research.
9. Manufacturing industry.
10. Diversified economy.

Analyze each of these factors and make a fair comparison between both country, you can even go ahead and add Kenya. let see which country perform better.

My reason for choosing health industry is simply because of its fair assessment. you only know a serious country by the amount of wealth she put in her health industry. health is akin to overall development.

The guy is a sell out idiot. how can you choose a country that barely has 1800 dollar in GDP per capital over a country with 2400? that alone shows there are lot of broke individual in TZ. I don't even need to do further research.

You rely too much on paper statistics. look I have nothing to gain by saying Tanzania is more developed than Ghana. they are both not my countries of origin or current residence, I'm basing this off of living in Ghana and visiting Tanzania. I mean when it comes to good roads and transport(aviation ) Tanzania is better this are facts. Heck Accra Kumasi rd linking two of the most important cities in Ghana is bad. you may say I can use the cape coast route but it's longer.

Tanzania has better infrastructure not only joining it's important cities but even towards all it's borders.
You can make more money in Accra more than Nairobi
