its a good intelligent inverter, doesn't consume much energy on its own, but its a modified sine wave.

I got the same inverter from Jumia 3wks ago and it's a modified sine wave inverter, so if u're looking for a pure sine wave inverter just look elsewhere, but it's rugged and comes with full accessories for both home and car, I got mine for 21k with shipping and all but I saw the price has gone up significantly.

So the choice is urs.

Okay, thanks very much
I am grateful for all the responses

But, can you please suggest a pure sine wave inverter that can be gotten cheap either locally or on AliExpress

You might need to answer a few questions to aid us in giving the right recommendation. What's your total load? Are you looking for a standalone inverter or combined with a charger? then finally what's your budget?

Thanks Boss
1. Total load of 300 watt + freezer, but if that will really push the price up, I can remove freezer for now
2. Minus freezer Total load of 190watt
3. Standalone pure sine inverter
4. Budget is around 120k

Your 120k budget is it for the total package i.e inverter and battery or just the inverter?

Without Solar
12v 100ah quanta battery / 12v 50ah Lifepo4 battery 65 - 70k
1kva 12v microtek Inverter 45k
Accessories and payment for local electrician to run Ur connection 5-10k

Total- 120 -125k

I believe this can work. This would be my ideal setup.

Don't forget 2 also tell him that in case he wants 2 install solar panels, pwm charge controllers dont charge LiFePo4 batteries effectively except mppt which is quite expensive.

With that size of battery bank, there are still some pwn charge controllers that might still work which are programmable for gel batteries at 14.2v on a 12v system and works quite well with lithium, though we all know that mppt works better, but if he's on a budget there's something that would work for him.

Thanks for the share and the heads up, I do appreciate.

Cheers

Please can I use 3 × 200 AH battery for a 1.5kva inverter? The batteries are not new

Yes u can if u're connecting in parallel thus giving a 12v connection but charging might be a problem depending on the inverter being used. I know microtek and luminous have decent charging capacities but prag has a better charge output than both.

But if u're doing a 1.5kve 12v connection in parallel without solar, I would advise u get an external charger, even the cheap Chinese models will do

The first picture is the inverter. Do you have idea about this inverter? The second picture is a charger I have. I normally use it to charge my car battery. Do you think it can change inverter batteries?
Thank you

I need a small inverter that can power just my laptop for 10hrs. I can't afford down time anymore with clients on my neck all the time.
Suggestions on the type of inverter to buy will be helpful. Thanks

Get a laptop power bank, probably the inec type or something a bit bigger and u're good to go.

Google laptop power bank on jiji or here on nairaland.

I don't know the inverter brand but it can work, the only problem is Ur charger, that doesn't look like a smart charger, so u might have cases of overcharge, so get a smart charger and u're good to go.

Battery size is according to your pocket e.g 200amp cost btw 95 - 120k. 100amp is about half the price while 40amp is more or 18k.

30amp charger cost about 15k or meet ceejay as he is selling his for 13k.
