These passages show that there is a difference between someone who is hired, someone who is a bonded servant, and someone who is bought, paid for, and owned. These are laws for priests. If the Bible had a problem with people owning other people, why couldn't it at least ban the priesthood from owning slaves?

If there's anything Messi knows how to do, it is how to evade tackles when dribbling. In fact where other players are diving for free kicks or penalties, Messi skips over the legs of defenders

Also, you're not taking into account Messi's low center of gravity. Short people have greater balance so can dribble in tight spaces without being wrestled to the ground.

And Messi also has injury problems as a teenager. In 2006, he had a great game against Chelsea destroying Del Horno before sustaining an injury that ruled him out of the campaign....

You are right that in the 90s, tackles were more brutal but modern defenses are better organized... Two blocks of four sitting deep is the most difficult thing to dribble through but Messi has scored solo goals against that kind of setup multiple times
