[/b]Gov Umahi Inspects The 300 Bed Covid 19 Isolation And Treatment Center Being Constructed By Him In Abakaliki.[b]

Realizing the need to always be proactive, the Executive governor of Ebonyi State initiated the construction of a world class Infectious disease complex within the premises of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching hospital Abakaliki.

The project which commenced a couple of weeks ago is nearing completion and will be put to use in a few days time.

The complex is comprised of:
-Emergency Room
-Intensitive Care Unit
-Treatment ward
-Doctors call rooms and some offices

The Chief Medical Director, Dr. Emeka Onwe Ogah praised the governor for the speedy completion of the project.

The center in no doubt, will be very beneficial to Nigerians and foreigners who reside within the state and its environs.

I am more interested in the medical facilities in these buildings...until then this is nothing.

To the emotional brethrens quoting me saying the building is not yet ready. This is just to keep the government on it's toes. It is typical for our government to just build a massive structure and tag it a hospital without equipping it. No disrespect.
