Coloureds are mixed race people, they have their own culture ,language etc . Why would they be classified as black/ African people? Many do have African blood, but they also have other bloodlines in them which makes them different from us. If I were coloured I would be mad if someone forcefully classified me as black ,when I'm not.I would say SA was lucky not to have the one-drop rule imposed on us ,it has clearly caused a lot of racial confusion in the USA. Maria Carey a black woman ? . If you watched a lot of American TV, you'd swear most black people over there look like beyonce ,and that's not the case. Don't cry, in real world if you have white or Chinese or Arab parent etc and black parent, you will be considered black. Mostly black african is usually determined by skull not skin that's why albinos look white but still African.

How are mixed raced people African though? . The people you mentioned clearly have euro DNA,which makes them partly African, this is not about their skin tones but genetics.
