Lol, believe this at your own peril.

There is a better way to say you want to lockdown lagos than fabricate figures few days to buhari's prepared speech

One thing I know is, people are no longer afraid, Corona is no longer an unknown enemy, it's no longer a visitor but our neighbor, so, we will live with it and serve it with chloroquine + zinc +vitamins and yoruba pepper

No mind them, and now that we have few days to salah,Kano result has reduced drastically.Niger i hail oo..lol!!

It's too late for that. The effects of the last two weeks will last for months to come unless Nigeria suddenly turns to Wuhan in terms of management grin sad
It's unfortunate that we (Nigeria) are in this mess. I agree with u that there is a big problem on ground but for U to say that it's too late, I completely disagree. Let us emplow the MADAGASCAR approach, I believe that 2gether wil shall overcome it.

Sincerely speaking I’m beginning to doubt this thing. First of all, we see them with empty isolation centres and none is even saying his/her people have been taken to the centres, we Nigerians need to pray (because you know Nigerians are religious) except the political class comes Minh out that its members are infected and the recent Almajiris ( whose existence has being compromised). In reality, I feel this thing is starting to be either be a hoax and non existence in Nigeria or is in existence but the figures are politically manipulated. Every state government wants to cash out big time.

NB: Effects of the partial easing of Lockdown has not started reflecting on the daily confirmed cases yet, that is supposed to start as from 14 days .... Which begins from this coming Monday

It is quite unfortunate that Nigeria/Nigerians are still playing with this virus.

Some still do not believe it exist... lol

Not until they start seeing fatalities like what they had in Europe and America.... the government and the people of Nigeria are not going to sit up.

but I know say
OUR GOD NO GO SHAME US Las Las

Just stay in your house... No one is forcing anyone out.

Let the brave take their chances out there. Are you going to cater for those you wish to be forcefully locked away like animals??! I sha know the government won't do a damn thing... Imposing lock down alone is poor leadership.

A lot of people have lost jobs, means of livelihood, and homes... Poverty is reigning supreme everywhere...

Lock down can never work... The virus is not going anywhere no matter what we do... We must live with it.

The only way to curtail Coronavirus is through massive testing, and up till today we are still conducting under 2000 test pay day, this virus has gone beyond Community transmission in the country, a lot of people are walking around with it, we will continue having low numbers today and an increase tomorrow, meaning we ain't reaching the curve soon, if we continue like this, many countries in Africa with massive testing will be done with this shit while we keep battling it daily.
At this point only a vaccine or a valid treatment can help Nigeria.

Cases increasing in Lagos and other states because of the lock down. Some states don't have lockdown and things are getting better for them.

Exactly! The FG knows that if it massively test people.. They can't just handle the outcome! Or u think the Govt can isolate over 100, 000 people in Lagos alone Or feed them..Hell No! Hence their need to slow testing as its just an avenue for them to buy time till or cure or drug is found...

Las las we we all go get the virus ni cos I don't see how its not possible except we all go dey indoor through out the remaining year + again read somewhr that cloth mask is not effective...

Latest findings by virologists and pandemologists show that clothe masks has little effect against covid19 cos it CANNOT filter out the virus.clothe masks absorbs lots of moisture thereby making it a breeding ground for bacteria.Surgical masks are very effective, but should be discarded after each use.N95 &KN95 masks are the bests as they are very effective and can be reused up to 25 times if properly sanitized. Please this is especially for health workers and medical personells.STAY SAFE

Without doubt you are very correct. Get a 3ply mask and cut it open from the side. You will find the filter right in the middle. The same goes for N95 and KN95.

Nigerians take undue advantage of certain situations to make money. That way they make mockery of the situations. There is no way clothes can work as filters. I got one clothes mask a few days ago after the lady boasted of how it was sewed by her and her husband. She said it had a filter right in the middle but it turned out to be a complete lie. With that mask it was very difficult to breath. The material form was like jeans and then the lining behind it made it look nice. She sold it for N200. Some tailors even sell for N50.

Government needs to let people know that masks made of clothes do not make sense. Now we are told not having a mask on is riskier. I sincerely hope our people can wake up from their deep slumber. The aforementioned masks are very effective and comfortable to use. Some pharmacies sell for as low as N200.

Cheers.

MuchAdo:
Forget about the number of cases!

Focus on the number of deaths!!

Most of the confirmed cases will recover with little or no treatment.

Coronavirus is not for Africa!!! Hallelujah!!!
When there's a bus accident, some people get killed. Some others come out alive but some might have broken limbs or cracked skull etc while some will come out unhurt. Everyone dt didn't die, actually survived but with degree of issues.

Same with corona virus patients. It is better not to have a bus accident at all.

There are cases that recovered patients might go on to experience kidney, liver disease.

It is better to not experience the disease at all. It is not more scary for people who have died from it. For people that recovered, it is not total victory for them.
