OP, my Toyota Camry, 1999 model, has been having fuel pump issues of late. The car begins to jerk and kind of cease after driving for about 5 to 10 mins. By then I guess the fuel pump is hot. I've bought 3 fuel pumps this year yet the problem still persists. What do you think? Could it be an electrical fault?
Secondly, my right back tyre gets bad quickly, within 3 to 4 months. The tyre gets twisted and the car begins to bounce from that side. Two wheel technicians (agbede) have checked it but found nothing wrong, changed the linkage, yet no difference. What could be the problem?

I got a mechanic who serviced the transmission sensor and changed the oil but the problem persisted. Got the vehicle scanned and it pulled out a P0776 code stating pressure control solenoid B performance. Right now I'm confused as the mechanic is saying I may have to replace the gear box as it is caused by a damaged fibre. Please I need your candid advice

Change your fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator.

Ask your mechanic to smell the oil to confirm if it's engine oil, transmission oil or power steering oil. Then he should start checking from the valve cover to the bottom plate to spot where its leaking from.

My 04 Corolla makes a funny sound when the ac is on and it feels like the load is too heavy for the engine to bare. It normalizes after a minute or two.

Plus I noticed oil on the floor where I parked it for some days, but recently I can't seem to see any new 'leakage'. I've checked the oil and it seem normal according to the indicators on that long iron (don't know what it's called).

Also, leaving the battery connected to the terminals overnight runs it down. Now I park and remover the battery connectors.

Are these problems related? I want to know what the problem(s) is/are before I visit any mechanic. Thanks.

1. Say About The Funny Noise On The Engine Sir..: Alot of things can cause the noise sir... Like.. A bad pulley(Roller). A Torn Belt. Or There is An internal engine Failure sir..In whuch only your mechanic can troubleshoot it.. And get the fat sir .
2. You Notice An oil drop in the floor where parked.. it. Sir it can be a transmission oil, engine oil, power steering oil.. Sir..But you only checked the engine oil. Through the (dip stick) to confirm is status. It Must be from the others too sir..But too check what is the exact issue sir.. You will need to call a mechanic to inspect that too sir.

3. For The Battery Running Flat.. It Must be you have some electronic unit on the car.. that stays on.. or you have a security or an alarm fix wrongly on your car sir. If not sir.. If an electrician have work on the car before. Maybe there is a wrong conection in what he does sir..If not also.. Meaning there is a short circuit in the system sir.
For the electrical fault sir.. You need to get an engineer which will use a scanning Tool to scan the system sir..And do physical diagnostic sir.

According to what you wrote sir ...Your car do overheat and you say that you refil your radiator.. At every journey sir.. I will just say.. you should take the car too an automechanic for a proper diagnosing sir.. Cause.. Alot of things can caused overheating sir.. Like.. Coolant leakage. .E.T.C sir..

I have Opel astra (zabira), ecotech engine, 1.8. the car started this funny sign of when gets hot, a light in the dashboard (car sign with spinner across) starts blinking. the battery had to be remove for minutes say 15-20 minutes before the car could start. mechanics, electricians and computer programmers have diagnosed but to no avail. this is really embarrassing, pls sir what is the actual issue.
