If the Argument for power to return to the South in 2023 is for the sake of Equity then it must go to either the South South to complete their 8 years under Jonathan or come to South East which have never produce any Presidency since the end of the Civil War in 1970.

If the South West want to jettison this perfect scenario for selfish ambition then Power Rotation arrangement need to be scrap and every region will be free to contest as far as you have the population to win including the North in 2023 .

i wont speak for the S/s they can support the South West ambition but we the South East will gladly vote a Hausa/Fulani with an Igbo VP in 2023 to continue with the Presidency than vote the South West Candidate . This is 21st Century our fathers where marginalized for over 50 years the Biafra war is long gone we the new generation children will not continue to be treated like second class citizen in our own country which our fathers fought and paid the price for Nigeria independence.

Those who advocate for Power Rotation must do so in Honesty and Equity not to grab power for themselves . Every Single Region in Nigeria from the Middle Belt , to south west , North, South East and South South all have capable sons and daughters to be the President of Nigeria so its not about the most Qualified every tribe and region have qualified people to lead this country its about Equity , Justice and Fairness

1. Power rotation is not in constitution
2. SE have never ever voted a SW candidate in history even when Kano people voted SW candidate over a Kano man, ibos with their hatred still voted a northern rat. You can soothe yourself, your wailing will only be longer than expected
3. Of note is, obj was never a SW candidate but a mischievous candidate presented by mischievous people and to mischievous people

Yorubas disowning Obasanjo just to clinch power in 2023 .. You dont expect Igbos to Leave Yoruba candidate of PDP and Vote local Lagos based ACN Party candidate ? be serious please even currently Nigeria have plenty party but we are only discussing about PDP and APC

Yes !! Power Rotation is not in the constitution meaning even the North Have the Right To contest and continue with presidency in 2023 but if we decide that Equity Demand it rotate then fairness and justice means it must first come to either South East or South South before ever coming to South West again that is atleast another 18 years

You have been conquered, you are begging from both sides of the mouth. On which platform do you intend to achieve the presidency through the backdoor? Politics is a game of wisdom, not chest beating

But the SW wholeheartedly voted in OBJ for his second term. Was the SW being mischievous then?

Anyway the major thing is this. SW presenting a candidate, automatically invalidates the rotation. We will give the north the greenlight to carry on.

I am sure our SS brothers will back us up on this.

The only southern group the SE will consider will be a SS (non-Edo) candidate grin grin afterall the SS has only been there for 5 years.

Any SW almajiri candidate is dead on arrival.

You are free to vote for whosoever you like but others too have the same right to vote for whosoever they like.

However if your decisions fail to achieve your expectations, don't call anybody 'back stabbers' or 'Betrayers'.

Thanks.

Let me itemize for you:
1. 2003 wasn't an election but a capture and conquer project implemented by Obasanjo with the incumbency power. It was shortly before the staged election that obasnjo carelessly said it was a do or die battle.
2. It was that 2003 that made Tinubu and Obasanjo the worst enemies on earth, because Obasanjo was confronted and was not allowed to capture Lagos by writing imaginary figures as he did in other states of the federation.
3. 2003 election wasn't election but staged because in most states, results released were more than the registered voters, and in some cases the same number of registered voters were returned without noting that there would have been some absentees either due to death, sickness or travelled out.
4. Soothe yourself as a SE and vote whoever you are pleased with, it doesn't and will make no impact.
5. SE made Jonathan to lose 2014 election because of their unholy domineering and taking over the identity of Jonathan's administration.

Firstly, what's this attache by force We SE/SS?

Secondly, the earlier power rotation between South and North was Pdp affairs not Apc.

Thirdly, nobody is stopping you guys from supporting whoever you want to support.. Do your campaign and let's meet at the poll.

Lastly, if click likes and shares for stones could not translate to real vote, then this is online ranting as usual

You guys keep shouting you won't vote for SW come 2023 as if your vote will determine SW victory. Atiku you voted in 2019 lost so I don't know why you guys feel your vote is important to SW.

All these noise makings won't solve anything. Igbos need to be wise politically and not disturbing us online

There you go again. in 2003, Yorubas did not present a presidential candidate, as they wanted to make sure OBJ got elected. Don't think you can bamboozle me with false information. In 2003, AD did not present a presidential candidate. Please do your research and stop spewing rubbish here

Speaking about GEJ, I believe GEJ worked hard to secure the SW the speakership slot but the SW almajiris chose to play a second fiddle to the north, who secured that position with wholehearted SW support.

When Igbos showed great support for NCNC, Yorubas left, and started backing AG. Always afraid of Igbos. Now because Igbos felt GEJ was a better candidate than Buhari and were backing him, all of a sudden Yorubas feeling intimidated, gravitated towards their northern almajiri counterparts, and accusing Igbos of showing unalloyed support for his government in the name of "taking over the identity of Jonathan's administration"

We agree with you that power rotation is not in the constitution, that's why we wonder you yorubas think 2023 is your birthright.

1.) You are neonates in winning national elections.

2.) You don't have the goodwill in the SE and SS.

3). Core North will always vote their own and more voting numbers than you do.

So where will you get your votes to smuggle in a yoruba man into aso rock?

According to documented history, yorubas are the only tribe conquered by pregnant women from Dahomey, they are also the only tribe south of the sahara to have Fulani emirates on their land till today in Kwara.

In Nigeria, Ibos have made themselves Pesident (Zik) and VP (Ekwueme)
Fulani have also done so. But yorubas are the only 'major' tribe who have never made themselve president.
Infact, like slaves Ibo and Fulani had to choose leaders for them (OBJ) albeit one they never liked till today. There was nothing they could do.

I think yorubas should be counted as true minorities. Fulanis are doing well in Kwara. grin
